Kim is excited. She is going to talk about her favourite season. She stands in front of the class with a very big black bag.
“Good morning, everyone! Today, I am going to talk about my favourite season. In this season, the weather is usually bright and sunny. The temperature outside is cool and the sky is blue. I often wear sweaters and scarves. I love wearing scarves！
On weekends, my family goes to the farm and picks apples. It is a great season for apple picking. Often, we pick five full bags! I usually help my mum make apple pie. It’s delicious! During this season, I can enjoy the different colours of the leaves. They are red, orange, yellow, green and brown. I like to play in the leaves with my friends. How fun it is!”
The class claps for Kim. But what’s in the bag Everyone wants to know. Apples! Kim gives a delicious red apple to each classmate. Everyone happily takes an apple.

What is pie It’s a kind of cake. The outside is crispy and the inside is usually filled with different fruit like apples, cherries, blueberries, strawberries, etc.

Autumn is my favourite season. I often go to the farm and help my uncle pick apples. We often go there by bike. When we see the big, red apples on the trees, we are so excited! We pick apples and put them into the baskets. We get two full baskets of apples! Then we can make apple pie! It’s so delicious! Autumn is a good season for apple picking! I like it best!

clap v. 意为“拍手, 鼓掌”。常用短语有: clap for 为......鼓掌。
clap作名词时常用于短语give sb. a clap中, 意为“为某人鼓掌”。
【例句】
Let’s clap for the hero. = Let’s give the hero a clap.
我们为英雄鼓掌吧。

give sth. to sb.意为“把某物给某人”, 相当于give sb. sth.。

be filled with ... 意为“充满...... ”, 是fill ... with ... 的被动形式, 相当于be full of。
【例句】

It is + adj. + to do sth. 做某事是......的
it是形式主语, 真正的主语是后面的to do sth.。
辨析: It is + adj. + for sb. + to do sth.
与It is + adj. + of sb. + to do sth.
It is + adj. + for sb. + to do sth. 句型中的形容词说明事物特点或表示客观情况, 通常为easy, hard, impossible, difficult, interesting等。
It is + adj. + of sb. + to do sth. 句型中的形容词是描述人(sb.)的品质、性格; 常用的形容词有kind, helpful, polite, friendly等。
【例句】
It is easy for her to answer this question.
对于她来说回答这个问题太容易了。
