In August, my family will go to the beach. It’s 650 kilometres away from our home. It will be a long drive. But it’s my favourite place for summer.

On July 10, we are going to fish at the lake. We will buy something to eat and drink and get the fishing gear (渔具) ready. We’ll meet at the gate of our school at 8 o’clock that morning and go there by bike. In about an hour, we’ll get to the lake. We’ll fish there and at noon we’ll have a picnic. After that, we’ll have a rest. At about 4 o’clock in the afternoon, we’ll come back home. I’m sure we’ll have a good time.

get ready for是固定搭配, 有时可以和get ready to do互换。
【例句】

老师正在为上课做准备。
2. Danny had a big smile on his face. (教材P120)
smile作名词, 意思是“笑容, 微笑”。表示“笑容在脸上”要用介词on。
【例句】

辨析：smile与lagugh
smile指不出声地微笑。
