Yes, another school year is over! I did well in my exams, too. Our school organized a special two-week summer camp. I am going to the countryside. I will stay with a family in their home. At the same time, a kid from the countryside will come and live in my home. During the two weeks, we are going to take part in many activities. I will experience a new life in another part of China. I am going to write down all of my experiences and share them with you. It will be fun. I am really looking forward to it!

Bob lives in Shanghai. He is a doctor at a children’s hospital. He is going to take a long holiday this summer. He planned to go to Hong Kong or Beijing, but decided to go to Xi’an. Xi’an has a very long history and it is very famous for the Terra Cotta Warriors. Bob is going to leave Shanghai in July and he will stay in Xi’an for a week. He will visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and some other museums. He also plans to go bike riding around the walled city in Xi’an.

Summer holiday is coming. I’m so excited. During the holiday, I will go to Beijing with my parents. We’ll go there by train. I think it’s a safe way to travel. We’ll visit Tian’anmen Square, the Palace Museum, the Summer Palace and the Great Wall. We’ll also do some shopping and take a lot of photos. We’ll stay there for five days.

two-week的意思是“为期两周的”, 是复合形容词, 在句中作定语。“数词＋连字符 单数可数名词 (＋连字符＋形容词)”结构中名词不能用复数。

write down是由“动词＋副词”构成的短语, 意思是 “写下; 记下”。当其后接名词作宾语时, 名词可放在down之前或之后; 当其后接代词作宾语时, 代词要放在write和down的中间。

share sth. with sb.意为“与某人分享某物”。share意为“共用, 分享”, 为及物动词。
