Dear human friends,
My name is Bruce and I am a blue whale(蓝鲸).I have lived in the ocean for over forty years. Usually, blue whales like me can live for more than eighty years. But now, sadly, many of my fellow whales are dying from one thing: plastic.
Human beings use too much plastic. When you throw plastic away, it doesn't just disappear(消失).Over 90 per cent of the world's plastic doesn't get recyeled. A lot of plastic ends up in the ocean.
Most of my fellow whales do not know the danger of plastic. They think it is food. But in fact, plastic is poisonous(有毒的). Last year, one of my friends died with 40 kilograms of plastic in his stomach. I felt so sad about it.
Worse still, we can easily become entangled( 卷人) in plastic in the ocean, such as waste fishing nets and ropes. They can cause injuries. We also have to spend lots of energy swimming with those heavy loads.
So my human friends, please stop using too much plastic! Maybe one plastic bag or one coffee cup won't make a big difference. However, when 7.8 billion people all start to use a little less plastic, it will make a big difference to us whales and, one day, to you humans as well!
Yours sincerely, Bruce

Pandas are loved by millions of people across the world. However, there are not many pandas living in the wild or in zoos. So why are they so rare
One main reason is habitat(栖息地)loss. Pandas used to live in lowland forests. But with the rise in the human population, these forests have been destroyed(破坏)and turned into farmland by humans. As a result, many pandas were forced(迫使)to leave their habitat.
Moreover, pandas are very fond of eating bamboo. But many bamboo forests have been cut down by humans to meet their own needs.
Worse still, the birth rate(比率)of pandas is quite low. Pandas can only get pregnant once a year during a very short period of time. And mother pandas can only have one or two babies at a time.id
Nowadays, people around the world are working together to protect these cute pandas. We hope we will see a lot more pandas in the future.

Some of you may have already seen photos of a quokka on the Internet. The quokka is described as the "world's happiest animal" , because of its cute cheeky grin(冷笑).
