讲授新课 Step II. Leading in Who does the housework in your home Do you often help your mother with the housework Let the students talk about them in groups . What will happen if no one does the housework in a home Let’s see what happened in Nancy’s home . Step III Reading Step III Reading Reading the passage in 3a silently and as quickly as you can to catch the main meaning . Answer the following questions :Why was Nancy’s mom angry with Nancy Did they solve the problem How Read the passage carefully and silently to find the specific ideas . And finish the tasks in 3b . (Show the Chinese meanings and the phonetic symbols of the new words on the PPT ) Read aloud . First students pronounce the new words aloud according to phonetic symbols by themselves, then the teacher checks their pronunciation , and offers help if necessary . Finally students read the passage aloud , and try to retell it . Fill in the blanks according to the passage Last month , one day when Nancy got home , she felt too tired . She _____ in front of the TV , but her mom said , “______ take the dog for a walk ” Nancy wanted to watch TV first .
