“It is by acting together, in this exciting way, that we can involve thousands — millions — of people, and this is what is going to change the world.”
“Every individual matters. Every individual has a role to play. Every individual makes a difference.”
Only by acting together can we ask thousands — millions —
of people to take action to create change and influence the
change that is needed in our communities and our world.
Each one of us is very important. Each one of us has our own responsibility to take. A small action will lead to a huge change especially when everyone works together.
Dr. Goodall’s quotes mean that changing the role is individual act, because there are millions of people who can make a difference if they all act on their own.
Since 1991, millions of students have taken on the challenge of making the world a better place for people, animals and the environment we share. Roots & Shoots youth are not only the future, they are the present and they are changing the world.
