The honey's natural ingredients are still living and active when you open the can. YOGURT | Cows that are naturally fed can even in turn encourage grass growth. This is why Almased sources its milk and yogurt from happy cows in Ireland and northern Germany, where they live in green grasslands.
Being a natural product,Almased has a very plain taste and can be prepared in many different ways. Whether you like it sweet or fruity, there are no limits to how you flavour it. As 17-year-old Torri'ell Norwood drove through Florida, last February, the laughter and chatter from the four teenage girls inside her car quickly gave way to screams. As they approached an intersection, another car T-boned them, sending their car sailing into the yard of a nearby home, coming to a stop only when it crashed into a tree.
As smoke rose from the car, a bystander shouted, "It's about to explode! Get out!" Shaken, but otherwise OK, Norwood crawled out through the window as the driver's side door couldn’t be opened. Along with two of her friends, who'd also managed to free themselves, she ran for her life. But halfway down the street, she realized that her best friend, Simmons, wasn't with them. Norwood ran back and found Simmons unconscious in the back seat. She threw open the back door and pulled her friend out. She dragged Simmons a few feet to safety and laid her on the ground. After checking her pulse and found there was no sign of life, she started CPR.
Had the accident happened a few weeks earlier, she might not have known what to do. But just the day before, Norwood, who wanted to pursue a career in medicine, had earned her CPR certificate by learning on her own. Kneeling on the ground and looking down at her dying friend, Norwood knew she had precious little time to practice what she'd learned.
She started pumping Simmons's chest with her interlocked fingers and breathing into her friend's mouth in hopes of filling her lungs with the kiss of life. After quite a while, Simmons began coughing and taking quick deep breaths for air. The CPR had worked! Soon, the ambulance arrived and rushed Simmons to the hospital. And then she heard how her best friend had saved her life. "I wasn't shocked," Simmons told others. "She will always help any way she can."
What caused the car crash
A. The girls were too excited to notice another car.
B. Norwood drove the car too quickly that day.

B. She ran for her life but turned back to save her friend.
C. She dragged her friends out and performed CPR at once.
D. She opened the driver's side door and pulled her friend out.

Do you want to level up your mask-wearing while also looking like you’re about
to battle with Batman This is life-wearing Razer Zephyr, a wearable air purifier. A version of Razer’s latest appliance made waves in January during the Customer Electronics Show.
It’s no surprise that tech companies are considering a leap beyond cloth and surgical masks that have come to define the covid-19 pandemic. It has a hard shell with two belts to fit onto your head. There are two air exchange chambers(腔) on the front, featuring double circulating fans to help circulate cool air. The chambers feature N5 filters(过滤器) providing two-way protection for you and those around you. It’s also transparent(透明的) with inside lights and an anti-fog coating to help solve one of the key issues with mask-wearing: watching mouths move when you speak.
Good as the mask appears, will it protect you from Covid-19 according to Razer, the mask is registered with the Food and Drug Administration and lab tested 99% BFE, or Bacterial Filtration Efficiency, a measure of how well it filters out bacterial. “It’s not tested specifically against the covid-19 virus, but offers the same functionality and adequate protection due to its 99% BFE rating,” Razer’s website says.
There is also the financial cost to consider. The mask itself is $99, and Razer sells a pack of 10 sets of N95 filters for $30. By comparison, a quick search for surgical masks on a shopping website turned up a box of 50 masks for between $11-$14.

Please don't feel singled out, special, or view yourself as a chosen one. She bites everyone. This is just the nature of the beast. There is absolutely no truth to the persistent myths that mosquitoes fancy females over males; that they prefer blondes and redheads over those with darker hair;or that the darker or rougher your skin, the safer you are from her bite. It is true, however, that she does play favorites and feasts on some more than others.
Blood type O seems to be the choice over types A and B or AB. People with blood type O get bitten twice as often as those with type A, with type B falling somewhere in between.
Those who have higher natural levels of certain chemicals in their skin, particularly lactic acid (乳酸),also seem to be more attractive. From these elements, she can analyze which blood type you are. These are the same chemicals that determine an individual’s level of skin bacteria and unique body smell.
Mosquitoes are also attracted by perfumes, soaps, and other applied fragrances. While this may seem unfair to many of you, she also has a desire for beer drinkers.
Wearing bright colors is also not a wise choice, since she hunts by both sight and smell, the latter depending chiefly on the amount of carbon dioxide sent out by the potential target. So she can smell carbon dioxide from over 200 feet away. When you exercise, for example, you emit more carbon dioxide through both breath and output. You also sweat, releasing those appetizing chemicals, primarily lactic acid, that invites the mosquito's attention.
Lastly, your body temperature rises, which is an easily identifiable heat signature. On average, pregnant women suffer twice as many bites, as they have a slightly raised body temperature.
Please don't go on a shower, exercise or give up your beloved beer and bright T-shirts just yet. Unfortunately, 85% of what makes you attractive to mosquitoes is fixed in advance in your genetic circuit board (电路板).At the end of the day, she will find blood from any exposed target of opportunity.
32. What is the purpose of the first paragraph
A. To explain the reasons for mosquito bites.
B. To introduce a new discovery to the readers.
C. To arouse the interest of the readers in the topic.
D. To prove that everyone can suffer mosquito bites.
33. Which element has nothing to do with mosquito bites
A. Blood type. B. Body temperature.
C. Color of clothes. D. Chemicals of bacteria.
34. What does the underlined sentence in the last paragraph mean
A. All the mosquito bites are caused by your genetic circuit board.
B. Your blood will be targeted by mosquitoes at every opportunity.
C. Your genes decide your attractiveness to mosquitoes to a great degree.
D. Mosquito bites can be avoided if you can get rid of some relevant habits.
35. What is the most suitable title for the passage
A. How to Keep off Mosquitoes B. Mosquito Bites Let Nobody off
C. Why are You a Mosquito Feeder D. Mosquitoes, a Threat to Our Health

Son, Here Is How You Save!
My wife and I recently welcomed a child into the world. His only interest now is keeping us awake 24/7. but one day, he’ll need to learn something about finance. 36 .
You might think you want an expensive car, a fancy watch, and a huge house, but you don’t. What you want is respect and admiration from other people. 37 . It almost never does-especially from the people you want to respect and admire you.
38 . Not struggling, and not unhappy, of course. But there’s no way to learn the value of money without feeling the power of lacking it. It teaches you the difference between “necessary” and “desirable”. It’ll make you learn to enjoy what you have, fix what’s broken, and shop for a bargain. These are primary survival skills.
Some people are born into families that encourage education; others are from families that are against it. Some are born into peace and wealth; others, into war and poverty. I want you to be successful, and I want you to earn money. But realize that not all success is due to hard work and being poor is not always due to laziness. 39 .
Your savings rate has a little to do with how much you earn and a lot to do with how much you spend. I know a dentist who lives paycheck by paycheck, always on the edge of ruin. I know another person who has never earned more than $50,000 but saves a fortune. 40 . Living with less is the most efficient way to control your financial future.
Don’t listen to me if you disagree with what I’ve written. The world you grow up in will have different values and opportunities that the one I grew up in. More importantly, you’ll learn best when you disagree with someone and then are forced to learn it yourself. Remember that always listen to your mother.
A. I hope you’re poor at some point.
B. If you do think so, you may get wrong.
C. When he does, here are some suggestions.
D. Your goals should be about more than money.
E. The difference is entirely due to the way they spend.
F. You think having something expensive will bring it.

第二节(满分25 分)
阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。 When a tornado(龙卷风) touched down in a small town nearby, many families were left completely ruined. Afterwards all the local newspapers carried many human interest stories(有人情味的故事) featuring some of the families who suffered the hardest.
One Sunday, a particular picture especially touched me. A young woman stood in front of an entirely shabby mobile home, a depressed expression on her face. A young boy, seven or eight years old, stood at her side, eyes downward. Clutching(抓紧) her skirt was a tiny girl who stared into the camera, eyes wide with confusion and fear.
The article that went with the picture gave the clothing sizes of each family member. With growing interest, I noticed that their sizes closely matched ours. This would be a good opportunity to teach my children to help those less fortunate than themselves. I stuck the picture of the young family on our refrigerator, explaining their difficulty to my seven-year-old twins, Brad and Brett, and to three-year-old Meghan.
“These poor people now have nothing,” I said. “We’ll share what we have with them.” I brought three large boxes down from the room upstairs and placed them on the living room floor. Meghan watched seriously, as the boys and I filled one of the boxes with canned foods and goods.
While I sorted through our clothes, I encouraged the boys to go through their toys and donate some of their less favourite things. Meghan watched quietly as the boys piled up old toys and games.
Meghan walked up with Lucy, her worn, much-loved rag doll hugged tightly to her chest. She came to the box that held the toys, pressed her round little face into Lucy’s flat and painted face, gave her a final kiss and then laid her gently on the top of the other toys.
“Oh, honey,” I said, “ You don’t have to give Lucy. You love her so much.”
Meghan nodded seriously, eyes filled with held-back tears, “Lucy makes me happy, Mommy. Maybe she’ll make that little girl happy, too.”
注意∶ 1.续写词数应为 150 左右; 2.请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。
The boys watched, open-mouthed, as their baby sister placed her favorite doll in the box .
