一、教学目标
1. 学生能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解对话大意;能够用正确的语音语调朗读对话。
2. 学生能够在情景剧中运用句型"Is he/she v-ing Yes, he/she is. No, he/she isn’t. He/ She is v-ing. "询问并回答某人正在做某事。
3. 学生能够增强热爱动物的美好情感,并牢记遛狗要牵遛狗绳。
二、教学重、难点
重点:
1. 能够在实际语境中用现在进行时进行交流,如"Is he eating " "No, he isn’t. He is ... "。
2. 内化并表演 Let’s talk 的交际内容。难点:学生能够运用现在进行时大胆创编和表演问答小对话。
三、教学准备:多媒体课件、头饰、板书卡片、自制机关书。
四、教学方法:情境教学法、TPR、小组合作教学法。
五、教学过程
(一)Lead-in
1. Free talk:Do you like dogs
2. Show the picture of Fido Who is it Whose dog is it
2. Let’s sing a song about Fido
(活动意图:通过对话引出本课主人公 Fido 并复习本单元第二课时句型,通过唱歌引导学生快速适应课堂,激发学生的学习兴趣和对小狗 Fido 的喜爱。)(
二)Presentation
1. Let’s try
(1) Present the main scene.
Who are they
What time is it
(2) Listen and answer:
Where is the dog
(3)Listen and check.
2. Let’s talk
(1) Present the main scene. What time is it
(2) Watch the video and find out the answer: Where is Fido now
(3) Listen and find out the answer: What is he doing
(4) Teacher : Is he drinking water
Students: No, he isn’t.
Teacher: What is he doing
Students: He’s eating. (T posts on the blackboard.)
(5)Listen and repeat.
Practice the sentences.
T posts "Yes, he is." on the blackboard.
(6)Read the dialogue loudly and find out the answer:
Sam will take Fido to the ____.
Present the sentences and help students understand the phrase “take...to...”.
(7) Listen and imitate the dialogue.、
(8) Role-play
(活动意图:本环节让学生带着问题观看视频、盲听对话和朗读对话使学生感知文章大意,扫清语言障碍,重点句型呈现后用不同方式进行模仿操练,锻炼了学生运用语言的能力。学生朗读并表演对话,有效内化语言点和信息。)
(三)Practice
What is Fido doing in the park
1. Teacher demonstrates the new dialogue by calling Sam.
2. Students make a new dialogue with partners.
(活动意图:在学生基本掌握新知的基础上,紧扣本课主题,创设情境,陈洁打电话给 Sam 询问 Fido 在公园干什么,通过续编对话,对知识进行适度拓展。)
(四) Consolidation and extension
1. T: Fido is lost in the park. Can you help Chen Jie find Fido
T: Is he sleeping on the grass Is he swimming in the river
Teacher demonstrates how to find Fido with props and reminds students to ask correctly.
2. Guess:
Why did Sam lose Fido in the park
3. Emotion penetration: Hold on tight to the dog leash.
(活动意图:通过创设 Fido 走丢的场景,让学生借助机关书使用正确的句子 Is he v-ing in/on/under/behind... 寻找 Fido,不仅激发学生兴趣,还能引出真实的语言操练。让学生猜一猜 Fido 为什么会走丢,并结合今年五月份颁布的遛狗栓绳入法,渗透情感教育,狗是我们的朋友,但是出门不要忘记栓遛狗绳。)
(五) Homework
1.Listen and repeat the dialogue twice.
2.Make a new dialogue with your friends.
