Lead-in Step 1 Warming-up Sing the English song head,shoulders,knees and toes. Sing a song
Self-directed learning Step 2 Presentation Show students some pictures of the body, then teach them how to read these words. Step 3 Game A student come to the front and touch his/her body, other students try to say out the words of each part. Then another game. Ask 6 students to come to the front, I will say the words and they have to touch their body as quickly as they can. Step 4 Then I will teach them some illnesses of our body according to the pictures. Step 5: Pair-work. Ask some pairs to practice the dialogue. Step 6: According the illnesses students mentioned, I will give them some advice on “what should we do if we have these illnesses”. Show them some pictures and teach them how to do. Step 7: Pair-work. Ask some students to act out their illnesses and their partners to give advice to them. Learn the phrases and do asking and answering
Inquiry & Demonstration Watch a video about seeing a doctor. Then students should come to the front and act it out just like that. Make conversations with the partner and do role-play
Teacher’s enlightenment& summary Summary: 1.Sum up the parts of a body and the names of illness. 2. Sum up how to give advice by using “should” and “shouldn’t”, then ask them to give the right advice about different problems. Ss say out these sentences out loud.
