The Spring Festival is the most important festival for the Chinese people. All the people leave their work and go back home. People usually put up couplets（贴春联）、eat dumplings and set off fireworks（放烟花）. Children can usually get a lot of pocket money from relatives（压岁钱）. It’s really an important festival in China.
The Lantern Festival is on the 15th day of the 1st lunar month（农历一月）. This day’s important activity is watching lanterns. The lanterns are in different shapes and sizes .“Guessing lantern riddles（猜灯谜）” is an interesting part of the festival. People also eat a kind of delicious dumpling called yuan xiao on this day.
