遥远的小岛上，住着一个倒霉蛋，它叫豆豆，那里的人只有三件事要忙，吃饭，睡觉，打豆豆。
你看，它总是被打，还不知道是谁打的。
Doudou is always beaten
by someone.
昨天晚上 ，夜黑风高，它又被打了。
Doudou was beaten
yesterday evening.
可怜的豆豆，已经被这样打了很多年。命运一直没有改变。
Poor Doudou has been beaten for many years.
我们亲爱的豆豆现在在干嘛，不用问，一定是正在被打 。
Our dear doudou is being beaten now .

What is the Passive Voice
英语动词有两种语态：
主动语态 (the Active Voice)
被动语态(the Passive Voice)
What is it
A. 主动语态表示主语是动作的执行者。
B. 被动语态表示主语是动作的承受者。
We planted the tree.
The tree was planted by us.
When to use it
1. 当我们不知道谁是动作的执行者，或没有必要指出谁是动作的执行者时。
2. 当我们需要强调动作承受者，而不是动作的执行者。
这本词典被保存完好(不需要说明是谁保存的) 。
这些书是在二十世纪二十年代发现的。
（强调书被发现而不是强调由谁发现）

二 ．被动语态的基本结构
be + 过去分词
（人称.数. 时态的变化都体现在助动词be的变化上）
PASSIVE VOICE
(一) 规则变化
变化规则：与动词过去式规则相同。
　　1. 一般直接在词尾加上ed。look — looked
　 2. 以e结尾的动词，直接加d。move — moved
　　3. 以y结尾，y前面是辅音字母的动词，变y 为i，再加ed。carry — carried
　　4. 部分动词需双写尾字母，加ed。stop — stopped

(二)不规则变化
不规则动词的变化因词而异。但是如果对不规则动词的过去式和过去分词做一分析，就可发现其中的“规则”。同学们在记忆时，可按下面的形式对教材后不规则动词表进行分析、整理。

主动语态变被动语态的方法
1.把主动语态的宾语变为被动语态的主语。
2.把主动语态的谓语变为被动语态的谓语。
3.把主动语态的主语变为被动语态的by
短语。（① by短语可以省。② by短语
后跟代词的宾格。）

1. 找宾语 ----即动作的承受者

2. 判断宾语的单复数 ----即be动词的单复数.

3. 判断动词的时态 ----即be动词的时态.
4. 修改谓语的时态 ----即原句动词改为过去分词
5. 修改原句的主语 ----即by+ 主语/ 宾语.
