教学目标
1、知识与技能
听说认读单词:short, long, big, small。能听懂、会说一些含有简单形容词的句子,如:Look at the elephant. Wow. It has a small head. And a short tail.
能在实际情景中运用上述句型描述动物的特征,要求模仿正确,语调自然。
2.过程与方法
充分设计 ( javascript:void(0) )生活情景,调动学生他们的情绪,让他们学会在实际情境中利用所学短语.并充分利用Let's do 巩固、操练Let's learn出现的单词,鼓励学生在真实情境中会话。
3、情感态度与价值观
在活动中习得语言,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。教育学生动物是我们人类的好朋友,要珍惜爱护动物。

能在实际情景中运用句型It has...描述动物的特征

教学过程
一 导入
1.Greetings.
2.Revision
T: Do you like animals
T: What’s your favourite animal
T: What colour is it
T: I think you like animals very much. Because they are lovely. Today let’s go to the zoo. Let’s see them and make friends with them.
(设计意图:通过与学生的日常生活用语会话和TPR活动,既复习了新知、活跃了课堂气氛、拉近了师生之间的距离.)
二 新课呈现
Step 1: Enjoy a song
Step 2: Lead-in
出示zip和Zoom的照片。Do you still remember them Who are they
Let’s go to the zoo.
复习动物的单词。
Step 3: Presentation
1.出示课件导入新课
T: Let’s go to the zoo.
T: Look! What’s this
S: It’s an ostrich
T: Is it thin
S: No. It’s fat.
2.学习新单词。(出示课件)
(1)T: Look at the ostrich.The head is small. Small means“小的”。The body is big. big means“大的”。板书单词small, big领读,跟读。
(2)体验式教学
T: Ann, come here. This is my coat. Please put it on. Wow, it’s too big. I think it’s too big for her. Is it big
S: Yes.
(3)Let’s look at the ostrich again. The tail is short. And the legs are long. short means“短的”。long means“长的”。板书单词short, long领读,跟读。
(4)体验式教学
T: Mike, come here. Give me your arms. Look ,my arms are long. And his arms are short. My legs are long. His legs are short. Because I’m old. He’s young. I think he is taller and stronger than me in the future.
(设计意图:首先学习新单词,以便于在后面的句型学习中学以致用,单词卡片集图片、动画、声音于一体,图文并茂,更能激发学生的学习兴趣)
Step 4: Practice
播放Let’s learn部分的录音三遍,学生跟读,模仿语音、语调。给学生五分钟自己练习读单词与句子。
教师随意不按顺序指着黑板上的单词,学生齐声读出单词。教师点几名学生起来读单词。
1.T: Look at the ostrich. Wow. It has a small head. And a short tail.板书句型It
has...并介绍引导学生介绍 It has a big body. It has a short tail. It has a big mouth. It has small eyes. It has long legs.
2.Group work: Describe the elephant. Look at the ... It has ... 小组汇报。小组合作能增强学生的竞争意识,还能帮助到后进生。
1.Let’s do.
a. Listen to the tape.
b. Listen to the tape again and act it out.
[设计意图]:通过学生表演,增强了对本课单词的记忆力,并提高了学生学习的积极性。
2.Let’s play.
I say you do. (老师发出指令,学生做动作。例如:Big,big big, make your eyes big. 同学们做出相应动作)
[设计意图]操练时采用先扶后放的形式,带动全班同学进行表演,从而巩固新知,形成技能。
3.出示不同小动物的图片进行形体比较,学生说句子。
[设计意图]:通过同学们喜欢的小动物图片做比较,不仅培养了学生良好的观察能力,还提高了所学单词的运用能力。
Pair work
看图进行问答练习。
出示课本课件练习。让学生两人一组进行问答练习。然后汇报。
(设计意图:看图让学生两人一组进行问答,然后汇报,大大增加了学生的参与度,提高了课堂效率。)
Step7 : Summary
(听、说、认读)词汇:
small, big, short, long
句子:
It has a small head.
Make your eyes big/small.
Make your arms long/short.
(设计意图:让学生对本课所学做个小结。教师也可以了解本课目标是否达成。)
Step 6:Homework
教学反思:
结合教材和学生的身心特点,在本课时的教学设计中,我从学生的兴趣和认识水平出发,利用漂亮的动物图片,玩游戏以及TPR活动学习了几个重要的形容词。让学生在愉快的气氛中学习,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,帮助他们建立学习的成就感和自信.
