二、教学目标
(一) 认知目标
1、能够听说认读重点单词 horse、hen 及其复数形式 horses、hens
2、能够听说认读重点句型
What are those
They’re...
Are they hens
Yes, they are./No, they aren’t.并用正确自然的语调模仿对话
3、通过在实际情境中运用简短的英语交际用语进行对话,能够主动地、创造性地去学习和运用所学语言。
(二) 能力目标
1、能够在情境中运用重点句型 What are those 询问他人那些是什么,并能用相应举行及相应单词的复数形式作出正确的回答。
2、能够在情境中运用重点句型 Are they... 询问他人他们是... 吗?并且学生能做出正确且完整的肯/否定回答.
(三) 情感目标
1、在学习活动中主动、积极、充满好奇,乐于尝试。
2、走进自然,贴近自然。
3、爱护动物,保护动物。
三、重点、难点
1、重点:能够区辨 these、those,What are these 、What are those 并能在情境中灵活运用。
2、难点:了解掌握一般疑问句 Are they... 的结构和用法,能正确运用一般疑问句进行询问和回答。
四、教学设计
建议本节课以农场为主题,较为贴近学生实际生活,学生兴趣度高,可以使用动物奖贴和小组农场的形式,营造课堂气氛,让学生充分参与其中。
五、教学准备
1、教师准备多媒体课件、一支笔、小奖品(中性笔)
2、学生准备练习本
六、教学过程(Teaching procedure)
Step 1:Warm -up(热身)
1、Free talk:
T:Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, Miss Wang.
T: How are you
Ss: I am fine, thank you. And you
T: I am fine, too. Thank you. Sit down, please.
(设计意图:营造自由的英语氛围,拉近师生之间的距离)
2、Let’s sing a song together. Old MacDonald had a farm
(设计意图:唱一唱复习旧知,激发学生的学习兴趣,调动学生说英语的积极性.)Step 2: Lead-in(导入)
1、T:We had known many animals from the song. Now let’s meet more animals,OK Ss: OK!
T:So today we will continue to learn 《Unit4 At the farm》 Part B let’s talk.
(板书课题)I’ll divide you into 4 groups. I also will show you 3 tasks to learn our lesson.
(设计意图:从 Old MacDonald’s farm--出示三个任务过渡,带着任务去学习新知识)
Step 3: Presentation(新课呈现)
1.Let’s talk
(1) 出示 Task 1:出示图片
T: What are these
Ss: They are ducks .
T:What are those?
Ss:They are horses.
T:What are those?
Ss:They are hens.
T:What are those?
Ss:They are cows.
由此引出单词:these those horses hens教读单词,学生跟读、开火车读游戏:大小声练读单词
(设计意图:让学生在真实动物声音中和互动游戏中快乐学习,提升课堂关注度与课堂学习效率。)
(2) 出示 Task 2:Read and act.
先让学生仔细看图,回答两个问题:
1.How many people are there in the picture
2.Who are they 播放课文动画,出示问题:
①.What are those
②.How many horses does the farmer have
第二遍播放课文录音,全班跟读并模仿录音中的语音语调。让学生找疑难,在问答中解疑难,板书重点句型:
What are those
They’re ...Are they hens
No,they aren’t./Yes, they are.
学生三人一组,练习表演对话。游戏:通过“击鼓传花”的游戏找小组表演对话。
(设计意图:以课本为引入,在师生问答中,逐渐培养学生自主学习意识,并利用游戏的形式激发学生开口说英语的欲望,激发学生的学习兴趣。)Task 3:
1. Make a dialogue. Pair work:根据所给提示创编对话,练习本课时句型。
T: Now let’s use these information to practice the sentence patterns.
(设计意图:以课本为切入点,采取两人小组合作的方式,操练巩固重点句型,让学生在操练中相互学习,真实使用。)
2. Part B Let’s play出示本部分的图片
T:This time I need three students to come here to act like as these animals with their voice. The others ask and answer.请几位学生上讲台模拟各种动物的形态和叫声,其他同学进行对话。
Step 4: Extension(拓展)(
1)Group work:出示任务情景:导游带着游客参观农场。小组内一人扮演导游,其他组员扮演游客,询问农场里的动物,这些是什么,那些是什么?它们是......?及肯定和否定回答,操练句型。
(2)Writing practice:出示几道题目,检查学生的单词掌握以及书写情况。及时给予评价,评选“最佳书写者”。
(设计意图:拓展练习,巩固新知,在小组合作中,进一步落实巩固新知。)
Step 5:Emotion(情感升华)
We should love animals and plantings. We should love nature.
Step 6: Summary以 chant 形式带领学生总结本课时所学的词汇和句型。
(让学生把新学的单词、难读的单词以及新学的句型应用到歌谣中,不仅能达到正音、弱化难点的目的,还可以培养学生朗读的节奏感和韵律感,吸引学生的注意力,增添操练的趣味性。)
Step 7: Homework
1.Listen to the tape and try to recite the text.
2. Make a new conversation about describing the farm.
