1、教材分析
本课是新标准英语一年级起点第十二册第八模块第二单元，是一节巩固课。
本课主要内容是四组对话，讨论穿衣和计划。本课知识目标的学习重点是进一步强化复习一般将来时的运用，以及询问和说明原因，
2、学情分析
学生经过五年半的学习，对一般将来时态的句子结构掌握较好。在语音上，基本准确，语调使用也基本正确，还需要进一步强化，提高语调达意的能力。学生积累了一定的词汇，通过四五年级的学习也具有了讲述一个简单故事的能力。几年的学习培养，学生具有一定的英语交流能力和合作能力，在思维和表达上需要进一步提高。
三、教学目标
1.语言技能
（1）听：全体学生能听懂Why are you wearing a hat
（2）说：全体学生能说Why are you wearing a hat
（3）读：全体学生能朗读课文。
（4）写：全体学生能写出语句询问。
2.语言知识
（1）功能：询问、用一般将来时说明原因。
（2）语法：全体学生能运用Why are you wearing a hat
（3）词汇：全体学生能理解课文词汇。
（4）语音：进一步强化语音语调，初步达到语调达意。
3. 情感态度
在小组活动中能与其他同学积极配合。
4. 学习策略
在课堂交流中注意倾听，积极思考。
5. 文化意识
在学习和日常交际中，能初步注意到中外文化异同。
四、教学重、难点
1. 重点：理解运用句子Why do you have cups on your heads 用“Why…… ”提问，用一般过去时说明原因。
2. 难点：用一般过去时说明原因。
五、教学准备
PPT，海报彩纸，彩笔
六、教学过程
（一）复习导入Revision and lead -in（ 3 分钟）
操作方式：
1. Greeting.
2. Game: Look and say. (Review words.)
Teacher show some words.Ss stand up quickly to say their past tense.
3. Look, listen and say.
Let the Ss listen and read. Guess what does Mrs Smart ask
通过游戏活动，复习单词，引发学生兴趣；猜测Amy和Sam为什么在衣柜和浴缸里，妈妈问什么，让学生参与到故事情景中，为续写做准备。
（二）任务呈现Task presentation（ 1 分钟）
操作方式：
Show the task to the Ss.: Write an ending for a story and try to tell the story in class.
【设计意图】
通过呈现课堂任务——续写一个小故事，然后讲小故事，让学生对本课任务有一个大致的了解。
（三）课文学习Text learning（15分钟）
操作方式：
1. Watch and talk about the information that the students got.
a. Watch the video of Activity 2.
b. Talk about the information that the students heard.
2. Watch the video again. Talk about the questions.
a. Listen and repeat.
b. Match the pictures and the drills.
c. Try to read the drills with partners.
3. Read and fill in the blanks.
4. Listen and repeat. Then guess what happens.
【设计意图】
本环节分三个部分。一次观看故事，对课文内容有个总体的了解。二次听读故事，共同完成连线和填空，引导学生理解故事细节，模仿朗读。最后跟读，想像后来发生了什么，发散学生思维。
（4）训练巩固 Practice（5分钟）
操作方式：
1. sing a song. Why, why, why...
2. Ask and answer.
Talk about the 4 pictures.
3.Finish Activity5.
【设计意图】
本环节让学生唱歌进一步体验Why... Because...的使用。并就4幅图展开练习。进行脑筋急转弯的问答。在轻松愉悦的环境中不断拓展想像。
（五）任务完成 Task completion（ 10分钟）
操作方式:
1. Read the story.
2. Try to write an ending for it. Talk your story in groups.
3. Share story in class.
【设计意图】
学生自己写故事结尾，组内分享。最后全班分享，大胆想像。
