一、教材分析
本课是新目标英语八年级（下）Unit4 Why don’t you talk to your parents 中的一节拓展课。主要是根据学生的日常谈论他们与父母之间的矛盾及当与父母之间遇到矛盾时，如何利用句式给与他人合适的建议。
二、教学对象：八年级13班学生
三、教学目标
1、知识目标：（1）根据图片与实际表述一些与父母之间的问题：don’t allow you to hang out with friends / Don’t want to talk to their parents./ hasve too many after-school classes / can’t sleep too long…（2）通过实际的情景学会运用给建议的句型：Why don‘t you + V原Why not +V原…？/ You should… / What/How about +V.-ing /n. … Shall we +V原… / Let’s +V原. / You’d better +V原. 2．能力目标（1）能根据情景，列出自身与父母之间的问题。（2）通过观察不同句型结构的变化，总结关于提建议的句式的结构。3．情感目标Believe that your parents are your friends, please talk to them more.
四、教学重难点：通过学习学会提出与父母间的问题，并能通过不同的句型给予适当的建议。
五、实施思路
“家庭教育”是当今社会备受关注的一个话题，然而如何处理好家长与学生的关系不仅仅是家长的事，与我们教师在课堂中给予孩子们的教育也息息相关。整堂课以“谈论学生与父母间问题与给予建议”为主题，与学生的实际生活相联系。以“和父母之间的问题”为主线，当堂练习如何大胆表达出与父母之间的问题的语法知识（eg.allow用法）及相关句型：Don't.../ 用一般现在时表达陈述问题的句子。另外，讨论出就相关问题给予建议的句型：Why don't you .../ Why not.../ You should.../ You could... 拓展句型：How about / What about.../ Let's.../ Shall we ... / You'd better...通过对于句型的观察，总结归纳出这6种句型的不同用法，并通过实例巩固其用法。在做题时提醒学生注意做题技巧的运用，让学生懂得最实用的学习方法与做题技巧才能更有效地帮助自身提高成绩与能力。 整堂课思政教育贯穿始终。课堂前的“引导”---课堂中的“视频”---课堂后的“寄语”逐步引导学生认识到与父母相处时及时的沟通的必要性与重要性。

Step2 Let’s Watch Watch a video together about a little boy’s life.After watching, talk about the problems the boy met with his parents and feelings.
Step3 Let’s Talk Talk about our own problems with our parents together.
Step4 Let’s Try Share some sentences about how to give others’ advice.Students try to find out the differences among these sentences.List them together.
