shoot / u t/ v. 射击; 发射
shoot sb/sth 射中目标（强调结果），及物动词。
shoot at sb/sth 朝……射击（强调动作），不及物动词。
shoot 作动词, 还可意为“射门; 投篮”。
weak /wi k/ adj. 虚弱的; 无力的
其反义词为strong（强壮的；有力的）。
the weak 意为“虚弱的人；弱者”，相当于the weak people。英语中，“the+形容词”结构，表示一类人或物。
be weak in... 意为“在……(方面) 弱; 不擅长……”,
与be strong in / be good at...“在……(方面) 强; 擅长……”相对应。
remind /r 'ma nd/ v. 提醒; 使想起
remind sb.+that 从句
提醒某人……
remind sb. to do sth.
提醒某人做某事
remind sb. of sth./sb.
使某人想起某物或某人
remind sb. about sth.提醒某人某事
a little bit 有点儿; 稍微
a little bit常用于修饰形容词或副词，
相当于a little或a bit。
a bit 与a little区别
a bit 和a little在否定句中的意思恰恰相反：
not a bit 相当于not...at all,意为“一点儿也不”；
not a little 相当于very,意为“非常”。
silly /'s li/ adj. 愚蠢的; 不明事理的
侧重指人的言行不符合逻辑或不明智。
silly既可用作定语，也可作表语。比较级和最高级分别是sillier 和silliest。
instead of 代替; 而不是
instead of 位于句首或句中，
后接名词、代词或动名词作宾语。
turn ... into 变成
turn into 意为“变成”, turn 作不及物动词。
turn (...) into... 的同义短语：
① turn (...) into...
=change (...)into...（把……）变成……

=translate ...into... 把……翻译成……

除west 外, 表示方位的east, south, north 等名词,
在其后加上-ern, 也都可以变成与它们对应的形容词:
eastern, southern, northern。
fall in love with 爱上
强调动作，不可与表示一段时间的状语连用。
Be in love with 表示状态。
“一见钟情”用英语表达为“fall in love at first sight”。
fit /f t/ v. 适合; 合身
用作及物动词，其主语一般是表示“物”的名词，宾语则通常是表示“人”的名词。
fit 与suit区别
(1) fit 作形容词, 意为“健康的”,
常用词组为keep fit= keep healthy 保持健康。
(2) 还可意为“适合的”, 常用词组为be fit for 适合。
速记小法：衣服穿在身上不大不小用fit，衣服穿在身上漂亮用suit。
couple /'k pl / n.(尤指) 夫妻; 两人; 两件事物
couple 作可数名词时, 指两人, 尤其是夫妇。
the couple 作主语, 强调整体时, 视为单数; 强调个体时, 视为复数。
couple 作名词, 表示“两人; 两件事物; 几个人”。
a couple of 意为“一对, 一双; 一些, 几个”
smile /sma l/ v.& n. 笑; 微笑
smile 作动词, smile at 意为“向某人微笑”。
smile 作名词, 意为“微笑, 笑容”
作名词时，为可数名词。
get married 结婚
“与某人结婚”的表达：
① marry sb.
② get married to sb.不能用marry with sb .。
be married表示已婚的状态，可以与表示一段时间的状语连用。
