一、教材分析
本课教材为外研社《英语》(新标准)(三年级起点)六年级下册Module3 Unit2 The cows are drinking water.本单元的话题是谈论照片。课文情境是Daming寄给Lingling一封信和照片。在这张照片里,Daming他们在山里玩,阳光明媚,微风轻拂,牛在喝水,小鸟在唱歌,鸭子在游泳,小兔子一蹦一跳,Daming和Simon在玩捉迷藏。他们玩得十分开心。这一单元在语言上在学习第一单元的基础上进一步巩固复习现在进行时的运用,任务是写故事,分享故事,语言相对难度不大,教师应给学习有困难的学生更多的展示机会。本单元共1课时完成。
二、学情分析
本单元的学习重点是仍是学习运用现在进行时描场景。学生们对这一语言结构已经很熟悉,所以这一课对学生来说理解起来比较容易。但随着年级的提升,英语难度的增加,学困生可能会越落越多,从而失去学习兴趣,所以在今天的课堂中,老师应该多给他们一些表现的机会,树立自信心,维持学习兴趣。也相信同学们在本单元的学习结束后能够用英语描述照片,写一个有趣的小故事。
三、教学目标
1、语言技能
⑴ 全体学生能听懂“The cows are drinking water.”
⑵ 全体学生能说:“The cows are drinking water.”
⑶ 全体学生能认读课文,阅读相关短文。
⑷ 全体学生能按要求完成语句书写。

⑴全体学生能够初步运用语句: “The cows are drinking water.”
⑵ 全体学生能够理解词汇:cow, blow, rabbit.全体学生能运用“cow”,部分学生能运用:blow, rabbit.
⑶复习现在进行时的用法。
⑷能感知单词重音和句子重读。
3、情感态度:能体会到学习英语的乐趣。
4、学习策略:尝试阅读英语故事及其他英语课外读物。
5、文化意识:知道英语国家中典型的食品和饮料名称。

(一)复习导入Warm-up and lead in(6分钟)
1. Greetings.
