Step1 Warm-up Let students review the words and sentences they have learned before. Ss should read the words louder and faster. 1 To activate the students’ interests in learning English. To be concentrated on the English Class.
Step2 Lead-in Based on the questions presenting on the PPT,T: 1.Where are Wu Yifan and John 2.What time is it Ss may be know the answers. And maybe they don’t know the answers. 1 To lead in the passage fluently.
Step3 presentation Task1:Let Ss listen carefully and answer the questions. 1.Where are Wu Yifan and John 2.What time is it Task2:Let Ss listen again and repeat the passage. Let Ss imitate the passage and role play. Task 3:Presenting some sentences on the PPT. And let some sentences miss. Let Ss say what are the missing sentences. Task 4: Teacher Says English, let Ss say Chinese. And teacher says Chinese, let Ss say English. Ss use the sentences:They are.. It’s...o’clock. to answer the questions. Imitate the passage. Pay attention to the intonation of the words and sentences. After that, read with the other students. Role play with the students. Read the missing sentences loudly. 4.Say the sentences in Chinese or in Chinese. 20 Make all the students can take part in the English Class. To master the intonation of the words and sentences.
