Step1 Warm-up Let students review the words and sentences that we have learned. Read the words quickly when seeing the pictures on the PPT. 2.Practice with the students with the sentences:What time do you get up 2 Consolidate the words and sentences that we have learned.
Step2 Lead-in T:What about Mike Does Mike get up at 6:30a.m. Let’s go and have a look. Ss will think of the answers and scan the dialogue quickly. Then they will listen the dialogue carefully. 1 To lead in the title fluently.
Step3 Presentation Task one: Listen and answer 1.What time does Mike get up 2.What is ready 3.What time does Mike have English class Task two: Listen and repeat. Imitate the words and sentences. Task three:Speak out the missing sentences Task four:Teacher says English of the dialogue, Ss say the Chinese of the dialogue; Teacher says Chinese of the dialogue, Ss say the English of the dialogue. Task five:Use the sentences:What time is it It’s time to...It’s time for.. to make a dialogue. Ss will be able to use the sentences:He gets up... He has English class at... to answer the questions. Ss will read the words and sentences with the correct pronunciation and intonation. Ss need to master the whole dialogue and speak out the missing sentences quickly. Ss must master the dialogue fluently and say the Chinese or English of the dialogue. 5.Practice with the partner and use the sentences:Do you... Where is it 20 Develop the ability of listening to a dialogue. Develop the ability to read the sentences correctly. Arouse the students’ awareness to remember the dialogue. Develop the ability to practice a dialogue with the partner.
