教材分析及处理 教学重点 1.能够在情景中运用核心句型“How do you like this skirt ”询问对于某件商品的印象。 2.能够运用句型“—How much is this skirt —It’s $89.”询问并回答商品的价格。 3.能够运用句型“It’s very pretty. It’s too expensive.”描述某件商品。
教学难点 能够在语境中理解“how much, eighty, dollar, pretty, expensive”的意思。
教法与学法分析 重视学生对文本的理解,引导学生看图片、看动画,在回答教师提出的问题的过程中逐步理解文本、学习新词句。
课前准备 教师 PPT课件、课文录音、视频、卡片等。
学生 预习教材及练习册中本课时的相关内容。

Step1 1. Greetings. 2. Enjoy the song—How much is that doggie in the window (出示课件) 3. Let’s guess. T: I like that doggie in the window. It’s very pretty. How much is it Can you guess 4. Lead-in. T: Sarah’s birthday is coming. Her mum wants to buy some new clothes for her. They are shopping now. Let’s see. Write down the topic “Shopping” on the blackboard. 1. Greetings. 2. Enjoy the song and try to sing it. 3. Try to guess the price of the dog. 3 带领学生欣赏本单元的歌曲,出示歌曲中出现的小狗图片,请学生猜价格,激发学生的学习兴趣,并提前渗透本节课的句型“How much is it ”以及相关词汇。
Step2 1. Look and predict. Show the three pictures. (课件出示:Let’s talk图片) Let students look at the pictures carefully. Ask some questions to lead them to predict the main idea of the conversations. The questions are like these: ① Who are they ② Where are they ③ What are they doing ④ What do they want to buy 2. Watch and answer. T:Yes. They want to buy a skirt. How much is it Let’s watch the cartoon. (出示课件) 3. Teach the words and the sentences. (1) Teach the conversation about Picture 1. (2) Teach the conversations about Picture 2 and Picture 3. Play the cartoon of Picture 2 and Picture 3. Help students understand the word “expensive”. Look at the pictures. Answer the questions. ①Who are they ②Where are they ③What are they doing ④What do they want to buy Predict the main idea of the conversations. Watch the cartoon and answer the question: Q: How much is the skirt Learn and practice the new sentences “—How much is this skirt —It’s $89.” Watch the cartoons and look at the pictures on the PPT. Answer the questions. Learn the new words and the sentences. Practice the words and the sentences in pairs. 15 通过问题引导学生观察并讨论图片,借助图片预测教学内容,培养学生的观察能力和逻辑推理能力。通过预测图片内容激活已有知识,并提取与文本有关的知识,进入文本话题。 引导学生带着问题初看动画,关注学生的有效参与,帮助学生初步感知文本。学生回答问题,学习主要句型。
Step3 Read and act. (1)Students read after the recording and pay attention to the pronunciation and the intonation. (出示课件) (2)Look at Picture 1 and Picture 3. T: Look at Picture 1 and read the sentences. Is Sarah happy T: Why T: Look at Picture 3 and read the sentences. Is Sarah happy T: Why T: Yes. Give emotional education. Let students know we should have a reasonable shopping habit. (3)Role-play. Let students practice the conversations in groups. (4)Act them out. Read after the recording. Practice the conversations and act them out. 10 播放录音,学生听录音跟读。引导学生按照正确的语音、语调及意群朗读对话,并能在小组中进行角色扮演。
Step4 Let’s act. (1)Create a situation. (2)Talk about the picture. Look at the picture. (课件出示:Let’s act图片) T: This is a clothes shop. What do you see in the shop (3)Make a demonstration. Show the demonstration on the PPT. (课件出示:对话范例) (4)Show time. Talk about the picture. Work in groups to make their own conversations. Act out the conversations. 7 通过创设自然真实的情景,让学生在情景中合理运用所学词汇,培养学生的综合语言运用能力。并且通过活动教育学生根据自己的经济状况进行合理的消费,养成合理购物的习惯。
