It’s in March\April\...并能在实际情境中灵活运用。
重点 能听说认读写词：January, February, March, April, May, June2) 听懂掌握句式：When is ... 和 It’s in ...并能在实际情境中灵活运用。
难点 了解常见的节日和节日所在的月份。

导入新课 Let’s review: play a game利用打地鼠游戏，每呈现一个单词学生快速读出。观看动画，激趣导入仔细观看小动画音乐When is your birthday，激发学生兴趣。Lead-in呈现日历图片介绍：Hi! This is my calendar! 1.Sing the song together.3.Free talk 动画短片的引入，不仅营造了一个轻松、愉快的学习氛围，同时也是对已学知识的复习和巩固。
讲授新课 1. 教学Let’s learn中的新单词(1) 教师呈现图片然后介绍：Summer vacation is in July and August. I’ll go swimming in July.接下来学习新单词July（Jul.）August(Aug.)并且问答操练When is the summer vacation It’s in July and August. I’ll go swimming and take a trip.(2) 用同样的方式教读其他的新词：September, October, November, December注意月份缩写Listen and imitate. 听录音看文本跟读单词，注意语音语调。 Learn the new words with the help of pictures.Watch the video and listen and follow to read. 完成对本课时重点知识点的讲解，讲解中增强与学生的互动，步步深入，使学生在课堂上对所学知识点有深刻印象。用录音进行课文的示范朗读，是培养学生良好的朗读习惯的关键，同时也能为学生的朗读树立榜样。
