Step 1 Warming- up(练)
1.Greeting
T:Good morning, boys and girls. Nice to meet you!
T: How are you boys and girls Ss:Good morning, Ms Huang. Nice to meet you!
Ss: I’m fine, thank you, and you
T: I’m fine, thank you.
2.Revision
T: Do you remember the past tense.
(屏幕出示:Is go swim do eat play buy read tell wear
Laugh borrow)
Ss read the past tense.
Is--was go--went swim—swam do--did eat--ate play--played buy-- read tell drink laughed borrow
设计意图:学生课前师生问候,可以让师生轻松地进入到英语学习的氛围中,既复习了一些与课文相关的动词过去式的单词,又可为本课的学习做铺垫。
Step 2 Leading-in (启,学)
1.T: Look the pictures and think: ask some questions, and then answer the questions.
Ss look at the pictures and ask, and then answer the question.
(让学生单个提问单个回答问题,注意图上的时间提示)三幅图问答完之后进行小结:不同时间发生的事不同的时态描述。(还可以详细的讲述。)
2.再出示三幅图,让学生小组合作完成问答,达到巩固作用。
再仔细观察三幅图,小组内进行问答,后班内展示。
设计意图:通过看看,问问,说说图画,由浅到深,层层递进,让学生能够通过活动知道在不同时间发生的事情用不同的时态表示。
Step 3 Presentation of the text(学,议)
1.Read and find:
T:Daming is going to go to America. Daming has got a letter from America.
Who is the letter from (学生仔细看书找出这封信是Simon写给Daming的。)
T: What does it say
2.Read and answer:
1)Listen to the tape carefully ,then try to answer the question
When are they going to see Daming (屏幕出示)
2)根据生的回答教师把课文句子写于黑板。
We are going to see you in three weeks.
3.Listen and repeat then answer this question:
屏幕出示:What is Dad going to do
1) He is going to put another bed in the room.
2) He is going to ask Daming some questions.
4.Read the text,then answer questions:(请学生四人小组带着问题读课文)
小组合作,阅读课文
1)What did Mum buy
2)What did Dad read
3)What did they borrow
屏幕在学生回答后展示:
Mum bought new chopsticks.
Dad read a book about Chinese history.
They borrowed a bike.

5.Read the text together(让学生齐读课文)
设计意图:让学生小组带着问题阅读,给学生确定一个阅读目标,实现阅读过程的监控,合作阅读,体现了合作互助,能让偏下中等的学生在合作学习中得到适当的帮助。
Step 4 Practice and consolidation.(练,检)
1. Doing:给好朋友的一封信
(请学生仔细看看,然后根据自己的想法,把信的内容填完整,能够明确过去时态和将来时态的用处与用法。)
