Warm up/revision
师生共同完成 Part B let’s learn的let’s do。
出示课件Play a game--Bomb，复习所学单词small, big, long, short和短语a small head, a short tail
Presentation
课件出示动物园的图片，老师指着动物园说：Children, today it’s a fine day, let’s go to the zoo, OK （教学新单词children）
老师问：What animals do you see 学生共同回答：monkey, panda, giraffe, elephant…
老师指着长颈鹿的脖子说：（复习已学句型）Look at the giraffe, it has a long neck.让学生练说句型。
老师指着大象说：Do you like elephant Let’s go and see the elephant.
出示一只大象的图片Look at the elephant. It has…让学生观察大象的特征。引导学生说It has a long nose. It has small eyes. It has big ears. It has a short tail. （板书句型）
让学生指着大象的特征，练习说Look at the elephant. It has…
播放课文录音，学生跟读句子。
课件出示兔子图片，指名学生用所学句型来描述兔子的特征。
继续出示两只不同特征的鸟的图片，多说几次Come here, children.引导学生到前面来说句型Look at the... It has…说完后让该学生用Come here, children喊下一名学生到前面，继续进行句型练说。
Practice
Let’s guess.（猜一猜）
课件出示几种小动物的一个部位，让学生猜猜这个部位是属于哪种小动物的，然后再用Look at the... It has…来描述该动物的特征。
Make a riddle.（编谜语）
指名学生用所学句型来编谜语，然后让其他学生来猜。课件出示谜语让学生来猜。
Sum-up
通过本课学习，我们学会了用英语来描述小动物的特征。
Homework
1.听let's talk部分录音，跟读5—10遍。
2.用所学句型来描述小动物，看谁描述的小动物最多。。
