1.全体学生能理解词汇village。
2.全体学生能运用词汇village。
3.全体学生能运用Was it a big city 这类语句并介绍自己喜欢的地方过去与现在的不同。
4.感知一般疑问句的语音语调特征。

教学过程:
Step1: Warm- up and lead-in
1、 Greetings(通过相互问候,巩固练习上节课学习的well和thanks)
2、 Say the chant and do the actions. (通过演唱上节课学的韵句,复习巩固了was\were…问句,同时营造了一种欢快愉悦的课堂氛围。)
3、 Free talk,导入活动1。
师请个别学生起立,就其特征向学生提问,让学生根据实际情况回答,避免提及fat。
T: He is strong. Was he strong then
S: Yes, he was.\ No, he wasn’t.
T: But I know a man ,he was strong then.. Let’s have a look.导入活动1.
(1)播放活动1动画,听录音,看图,整体感知。
T: This time ,just listen and look.
The man is very strong. Was he strong then
S: Yes, he was.
(2)Listen and repeat.(提醒模仿语音语调)
(3)Read together.
T: Good job. The ma n is strong. He is also very healthy.
And we should eat healthy and take exercise to keep our health.
Have a healthy body, we can go to travel, enjoy the beautiful scenery.(通过活动1强壮的身体延伸到健康的身体,讲到饮食健康,多锻炼保持健康的身体,这样就可以外出旅游,欣赏美景,自然地过度到文本的学习。)
Step2: Task presentation
1、 师展示去过的城市的照片。
T: Do you like travelling
S: Yes.
T: Me too. I have been to a beautiful city.(边说边展示图片)
T: Do you know which city It is Dalian.
My uncle lives in Dalian.
And Dalian is a beautiful city now.
It is clean and modern.
But it wasn’t beautiful thirty years ago.
It wasn’t modern then.
T: Where have you been to ? Do you like it?
Can you say the changes of the past and now
T: After this class, please introduce a place you like.
First, Let’s have a look, how does Lingling introduce Shenzhen. (呈现本课任务:你曾经去过什么地方?你喜欢哪里吗?你能说出它过去与现在的变化吗?学完今天的内容以后,我们就要请大家介绍一个你喜欢的地方。让我们先来看看Lingling是如何向Amy介绍深圳过去与现在的)
Step3: Text learning
1、 播放第一遍动画,整体感知。
2、 播放第二遍动画,跟读,注意模仿语音语调,思考问题
Where is Lingling’s grandpa (He is in Shenzhen .)
3、 师展示深圳现在的图片,引导学生说句子:
Shenzhen is a big city now.
Shenzhen is a beautiful city now.
Shenzhen is modern.
T: Was it a big city then?(师提问并板书,接着展示深圳还是小渔村时的图片,引导学生回答:No, it was a very small village then .(单词卡讲授新单词village,并鼓励学生造句)
Eg My grandma lives in a small village.
Hainan was a small village too.
4、 第三遍播放录音,跟读,注意模仿语音语调。
5、 Read in roles.(戴头饰分角色朗读)
Step4: Practice
1、 Activity 3
T: Many things are changing.
Like Shenzhen, it was a small village then, now it is a big city.
Now let’s look at these pictures. Are they changing?(提醒学生们注意正确使用代词it\she\he\they和was\were)
2、 歌曲
T: Good job. Now let’s listen to a song to relax.
(1) 学生看图说变化
T: The pictures show a pig from small to big.引导学生说:
It was fat then, now it is thin.
It was slow then, now it is fast.
It was small then,now it is big.
It was cute then, now it is old.
(2) 第一遍播放歌曲,整体感知。
(3) 第二遍逐图播放,学生跟唱,做动作
T: Do the actions follow me.
(4) 男女生分组演唱。
T: Girls, you are the pig when it was young.
So you should use small voice, like me. (师示范)
Boys, you are the pig when it grew up.
So you should use rough voice, like me. (师示范)
3、 游戏:最佳导游
准备好一些同学们熟悉的著名城市的图片,让学生说说喜欢哪座城市及理由,其他同学可提问。(北京、上海、青岛、伦敦)
T: Do you want to be a guide
Well, I have some pictures of different cities.
We know the May Day is coming. Where do you want to visit
Which one is your favourite
Do you want to visit it Can you tell me more about it
If you can introduce the city well. You will be the best guide.
Who can try The others can ask some questions.
Step5: Task completion
T: Everything is changing. The city is changing, too.
Now I am a guide. (师装扮成导游) Please follow me, Let’s visit a city. Ok
多媒体展示日照以前和现在的一些图片,在播放过程中,师作简单讲述。最后让学生猜哪座城市。然后以小组形式讨论城市前后的变化,推荐一名代表解说,其他小组的成员猜是哪座城市。(北京、上海、青岛、伦敦)
