Beihai Park is one of the oldest and
well-preserved imperial gardens (保存完整的皇家园林) in China at present.
In 1925, the park was first opened to the public, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world every year.
The whole park can be divided into four scenic areas:
