教材分析
本单元学习的主题是学校的活动日历安排,重点学习月份以及相关节日和活动的单词和短语。本节课是第三单元的第五课时读写教学课,主题是English Party,要求学生能够理解邀请函的内容和结构,并能学会寻找关键信息等阅读方法。
学情分析
授课对象的是五年级5班的学生。五年级是小学英语学习的高级阶段,他们已能够听懂老师的基本指令并形成较好的英语学习习惯, 绝大多数的学生掌握并积累了一定的词汇、句型,以及语法知识,具备了基本的英语听、说、读、写技能。本节课的重点是让学生将生活与学习联系起来,了解英语派对邀请函的内容和结构以及活动,养成基本的阅读习惯,提高学生的学习积极性。
设计思路
《新课程标准》 中强调要以学生的认知水平、生活经验、学习兴趣为出发点,面向全体学生,重视语言的实践性和应用性,充分考虑学生的渐进性和持续性,积极引导学生主动进行思维,促使学生养成良好的意志品质。围绕这一理念,我以“English party”这一话题为中心展开教学活动,经过以下几个环节:激活旧知—感受新知—理解、运用邀请函,从整体感受新知到逐步理解文本内容和结构,再到整体输出。
教学目标:
语言能力
(1)能掌握并运用词汇:read riddles, act out, RSVP, by等新词汇并能正确发音。
(2)能综合运用本课的核心句型:Will you... & You will...学会正确地表达派对上将会做的事情。
(3)根据Word bank的提示并小组讨论,学会创作新的派对邀请函。
2. 学习能力
(1)能结合实际情况对事物展开合理的想象,对文本内容进行合理的预测。
(2)能掌握基本的阅读策略,有效提取文章关键信息,获取邀请函的主要内容。
(3)能根据板书上的思维导图进行文本内容的复述。
思维品质
(1)能树立正确的语言学习观,培养良好的阅读、写作和沟通交流的学习习惯和兴趣。
(2)培养学生积极参与的学习态度,并能形成小组合作的意识。
(3)培养学生独立自主的思考能力,学会对问题进行判断、分析和结合实际情况进行合理补充。
文化意识
了解邀请函的目的、框架、内容等,感受活动的精彩和校园生活的乐趣。
教学重点、难点:

(1)能读懂Read and write的邀请函并掌握邀请函新文体的结构。
(二)教学难点:
(1)单词12th, 23rd, riddle, act out等新词的正确发音
(2)能结合本课所学的内容进行仿写。
教学策略:
情景教学法:利用本单元第二课时A talk的情境引出Mike 和Zhangpeng 邀请参加English party进而开展文本读写的学习活动。
(2)任务教学法:学生在完成学习任务的过程中,提高学生综合语言运用能力。
(3)TPR:在T的示范和指导下,Ss通过表演Robin进行理解act out stories 的内涵。
教学用具准备:
PPT课件、图片、音频文件等。

Step 1: Greetings& Lead in Greetings Sharp eyes Greet to the teacher. Say out the words 头脑风暴,激发旧知,为本课的学习做铺垫。
Free talk:Brainstorm a few fun things in our school. Q1:Where is the sports meet/Children’s Day party Q2: What can you do at the sports meet/Children’s Day party Lead the Ss to talk about their school calendar. Try to talk about Chengxi’s school calendar 通过谈论本校的校历,对本单元的知识进行复习,并引出本课的情境。
Step 2: Presentation Pre-reading Lead the Ss to predict the content of the invitation by asking related questions. Try to ask some question about the invitation. 通过引导学生结合生活经验,对邀请函的内容进行合理的想象和预测,为文本的阅读和信息的获取指明方向。
While-reading Play the recording of the invitation. Lead Ss to read and answer the previous questions and finish the mind-map. Let Ss guess the riddles and act out Robin. Let Ss read and judge. Play the recording and let Ss listen and read in group. Lead Ss try to retell according to the mind-map. Listen to the recording and answer the questions to know about the English party. Master the framework of invitation Guess the riddles and act out Robin. Read and tick or cross. Listen and follow Try to retell the invitation according the mind-map on the blackboard. 以问题为驱动,对文本进行整体感知,并通过回答问题完成对文本的解读和阅读策略的渗透。 通过听录音、同伴学习和小组合作,完成对课文朗读的熟练程度。
Post-reading Lead Ss to talk about their feelings about the English party. Lead Ss to give some fun advice and make the party more interesting. Make comments about the English party. Try to offer some fun advice and talk about fun things they can do at the party. 培养学生独立思考和批判的思维能力,对活动的安排提出自己的见解。 培养学生基于生活经验对事物进行合理的建议。
Step3 Consolidation &extension Lead Ss to say more different parties. Lead Ss to make their own invitation in group. Let Ss show and read their own invitation Brainstorm different kinds of parties. Try to write their own invitation in group. 基于学生的生活经验和校园生活对话题进行延伸讨论 设计模仿性输出,让学生以读促写。学生在感受、体验、参与、合作的过程中学习邀请函的书写,加深对文本结构的理解和运用。
Step4 Homework Read the invitation on P29. Share your party invitation with friends or parents.
