I reached Sarajevo, Bosnia after a 10-hour bus ride over the night. At 5-30 in the morning, all I wanted to do was to find my hotel, put down my bags and take a rest.
I studied my travel map and saw that my hotel “Pension Train” was north-west from the train station. After getting off the bus, I walked to what looked like the main road. I saw an old building. A-ha! The train station!
I walked and walked. The Sun was rising over the hills. My map said, “From the train station, turn left at the post office, and follow the board that says ‘Pension Train’”. I was at the post office. Well, there weren’t any boards. But I went on walking left. Still no boards. I asked but no one knew of “Pension Train”.
My faith in the map disappeared. I was tired, and I was hungry. Then an angel(天使)appeared. It was an old man driving a car and delivering milk and bread. Without saying any words, he gave me fresh bread to eat, and drove me around the city for the morning. He asked people where “Pension Train” might be. We were told that it was closed last year. Then the old man sent me to another hotel in the centre of town.
