第一课时
知识与技能
1. 能听、说、读、写词汇：gifts, flowers, card, birthday party, balloons, candles.
2能听懂、会说句型：
I am going to ... for her.
3.能在实际生活中灵活应用以上词汇。

教学环节：
1.Warming up
(1)Let’s chant: little mouse
(2)Sing birthday song
2.leading in
T:Do you like birthday party I like too.
T:Today I bring something about birthday party .do you want to know what is it Then show the students a card a gift flower balloons candles etc.
3.New concepts
(1)show a card
Teach them to learn new word “card.”
(2)Show a gift and teach them to learn word “gift,”
(3)Show a flower, and teach them to learn word “flower”
In the same way, teach them to learn new words:
birthday party, balloons, candles.
4.Watch the PPT
listen to the ppt carefully and repeat these words three times.
5.Practice activities
Play a game “what is missing ”
Play the “bomb”game.
6.show a calendar
T: when is your birthday
When is your mother’s birthday
Circle your birthday,please.
Circle your mother’s birthdayplease.
7.Think and tick
(1)Ask :what are you going to do for your mother on her birthday please tick out.
Look at the pictures and learn some phrases:
Make a card buy flowers buy a gift buy a birthday cake. Have a birthday party.
(2)Watch the PPT and learn these phrases
(3)Use these phases to make dialogue
8.Ask some students to act their dialodue.
9.Play a game “run a train”
