教师在PPT上展示与人或者人的外貌有关的谚语,然后教师带领同学们一起翻译、学习这些句子。句子如下:

环节2 学习1a-1c
1.教师让学生观察1a的图片,并让学生尝试将图片中的字母与1a左边列出的单词和短语相匹配;教师和学生一起核对答案。
2.教师让学生浏览1b的题干以及1a图片中的对话内容,了解其大意,并注意对话所缺内容,为听力练习做好准备。
3.教师播放1b的录音,学生完成练习,并找出Amy的朋友。
4.教师再次播放录音,学生逐句跟读,整体感知,然后教师核对答案。
5.教师让学生就1a图片中的人物,以1c中的对话为例,在1a中选一个人作为朋友,向搭档描述朋友的样子,搭档把这个人找出来。老师挑选两三组学生当堂表演对话,让其他同学一起找。
设计意图:通过听力及对话练习,让学生能够初步了解描述他人样貌的短语和句型。
环节3 学习2a-2d
1.让学生朗读2a的题干,理解题干大意并观察下方的三个问题,预测听力内容,为听力练习做好准备。
2.教师播放2a的录音,学生听录音并回答这三个问题,教师邀请三名同学来分享自己的答案,教师核对答案。
3.教师再次播放录音,学生完成2b的表格。教师随机邀请三名同学展示自己的答案,并进行指正。
4.让学生两人一组,朗读2c的对话,然后根据2c的示例,就2b表格中的内容进行对话练习,一问一答,并画出所描述的那个人。教师挑选两三组学生当堂表演对话,最后教师进行点评。
5.让学生朗读2d的对话,掌握其大意,并标出其中的生词、重点短语及难句,教师进行讲解。
6.教师播放2d的对话录音,让学生跟读,整体感知。
7.教师邀请几组学生分角色有感情地表演对话。

(1)What does he look like
“What do/does+主语+look like?”是用来询问某人长什么样子的句型。look like的意思是“看起来像……”,其中like为介词,意为“像;如同”。
【辨析】look like与be like
look like 常指人的外貌怎么样 例:He looks like his mother.他看起来像他妈妈。
be like 常指人的性格、品质怎么样 例:—What's he like?他是一个什么样的人?—He is very friendly.他很友好。
(2)Does Sally have long or short hair
此句为选择疑问句。提出两种或两种以上的情况来让对方对它做出判断或选择,这样的疑问句就叫选择疑问句。其句型结构为:一般疑问句+or+另一备选对象?这样的疑问句不能用 yes 或 no 来回答,只能根据实际情况作答。选择疑问句中,or 前面的部分读升调,后面的部分读降调。例:—Do you like English or Japanese?你喜欢英语还是日语?—I like English.我喜欢英语。
(3)Yeah,but I may be a little late.
a little 意为“一点;少量”,可以修饰形容词/副
词原级或不可数名词。例:There is a little milk in the glass.杯子里有一点牛奶。He is a little shy.他有点害羞。
【辨析】a little与little
a little 后面跟不可数名词,表示肯定意义,意为“一点”。 例:Can you give me a little ink 你能给我一点儿墨水吗?
little 后面跟不可数名词,表示否定的意义,意为“几乎没有”。 例:They have little money. 他们没有什么钱。

(1)Some people see crimes and then talk to Joe.
①crime在此处是可数名词,意为“罪,罪行”。常见搭配:commit a crime犯罪。crime用作单数时,还可意为“罪过,不道德的行为”。例:The massacre was a crime against humanity.这场大屠杀是一桩反人类的罪行。It's a crime to destroy shared bicycles.毁坏共享单车是一种不道德的行为。
②talk to sb.与某人讲话。它相当于talk with sb.。例:He is very outgoing and likes to talk to others.他很外向,喜欢和别人交谈。

each此处用作形容词,意为“每个”,修饰可数名词单数。例:Each boy has a new pen.每个男孩都有一支新钢笔。
【辨析】each与every
①each 作形容词,指两者或两者以上中的“每一个”,侧重个体。作代词,可作主语、宾语或同位语,其后可接介词of。例:Each of the students has a new bike.=Each student has a new bike.每个学生都有一辆新自行车。
②every 作形容词,指三者或三者以上中的“每一个”,侧重总体,不能单独使用。
(3)Many people don't always see things the same way so they may describe the same person differently.
①people 表示“人”,是一个只表示复数意义的可数名词(注意不要在词尾加 s)。可以说 some people(一些人)、many people(许多人)等,但不能说 a people 或 one people。例:Many old people live alone.许多老年人都独自生活。A lot of people went to the south.许多人去了南方。
②not always 意为“不总是”,表示部分否定。当all、every、both、always 等词与not连用时,都表示部分否定。例:Not all students are from China.并不是所有学生都来自中国。

(1)描述性形容词
①形容词的定义
形容词用来说明、修饰名词或代词,表示人或物的性质、特征、状态或属性。
②形容词的用法
形容词常在句中作定语、表语或宾语补足语等。例:Lily is a beautiful girl.莉莉是一个漂亮的姑娘。(定语)This book is interesting.这本书很有趣。(表语)
③描述外貌常用的形容词
描述身高:tall、short、medium等。
描述体型:thin、fat、heavy、medium等。
描述头发:short、long、straight、curly等。
描述颜色:blond、brown、black、grey等。
④多个形容词的排列顺序
英语中,当名词前有多个形容词作定语时,这些形容词通常遵循一定的排列规则,不得随意调换。
