Introduce the first way.Give some time, and lead students to express them. ① 在4:00,We can say“at four”“at four o’clock”. ② 在9:00,We can say“at nine”“at nine o’clock”.Tell students pay attention to the words “at” and“o’clock”in the phrases.Lead students to conclude the structure:“小时+o’clock”. 2. Introduce the second wayGive some time, and let students read them in English. ① 7:30, seven thirty. ② 10:25, ten twenty-fve.“Can you tell me say out more time like this ”“Can you find the structure in these time ”“小时+分钟”3. Introduce the third way (1).“Please try to read these time in English.”① 8:10, eight ten② 9:25, nine twenty-five “Can you say the other way of these time Let’s try!” Ten past eight. Twenty-five past nine They are different, We pay attention to the“past”, “Do you find their structure ”“分钟数+past+点钟数”“分钟数<30”.(2). Let’s read the two words “half”“quarter”. “Do you know how many minutes they are ” fifteen minutes= a quarter thirty minutes= half Please read them: ① 4:15, a quarter past four/ fifteen past four. ② 10:30, half past ten/ thirty past ten(3).
