知识讲解（难点突破） Step1. PresentationTell students, we will learn three ways to express the time.1. Introduce the first way.Give some time, and lead students to express them. ① 在4:00，We can say“at four”“at four o’clock”. ② 在9:00，We can say“at nine”“at nine o’clock”.Tell students pay attention to the words “at” and“o’clock”in the phrases.Lead students to conclude the structure:“小时+o’clock”. 2. Introduce the second wayGive some time, and let students read them in English. ① 7:30, seven thirty. ② 10:25, ten twenty-fve.“Can you tell me say out more time like this ”“Can you find the structure in these time ”“小时+分钟”3. Introduce the third way (1).“Please try to read these time in English.”① 8:10, eight ten② 9:25, nine twenty-five “Can you say the other way of these time Let’s try!” Ten past eight. Twenty-five past nine They are different, We pay attention to the“past”, “Do you find their structure ”“分钟数+past+点钟数”“分钟数<30”.（2）. Let’s read the two words “half”“quarter”. “Do you know how many minutes they are ” fifteen minutes= a quarter thirty minutes= half Please read them: ① 4:15, a quarter past four/ fifteen past four. ② 10:30, half past ten/ thirty past ten（3）. Look at these time, Let’s read them. ① 9:55, nine fifty/ five to ten ② 8:45, eight forty-five/ a quarter to nine/ fifteen to nine.Notice“to”in these time, read them and conclude the structure. “60-原分钟数+to+下一个点钟数”（分钟数>30）（设计意图：通过时间的不同表达从三部分引导、设问、举例，使学生们初步理解时间的整点法、顺读法、逆读法，在各部分中引导学生们注意观察、分析总结出相应的时间表达词语结构，使学生们进一步掌握内化各种表达法突破难点，培养学生们的自主学习、分析探究的能力。）
课堂练习（难点巩固） Step3.Practice 1. Show some pictures of the time, and ask students to read them out. Give some exercises, Tell students to write these time with right ways.用顺读法写出下列时间：11:55 . 6:45 . 8:30 . 1:15 . 用逆读法写出下列时间 6:20 . 2:45 . 4:10 . 5:35 . (设计意图：通过两组练习，引导学生们正确运用时间的表达法;整点法、顺读法、逆读法，先读再写、先易后难，在前面理解、掌握的基础上再加以熟练运用巩固难点，培养学生们的语言运用能力。)
