Step III Reading Reading the passage in 3a silently and as quickly as you can to catch the main meaning . Answer the questions:What’s the student’s problem What’s Robert’s advice Read the passage carefully and silently to find the specific plete the chart in 3a . Discussion . Do you agree or disagree with Mr. Hunt’s advice And why Talk about it in your group . We usually meet some new words in the reading . If the new words don’t affect us to catch the main idea of the article , we can ignore them and go on our reading .If these words are important for catching the main idea to catch the main idea of the article . Now Let’s read the letters carefully again . Which words or phrases in the letters have the same or similar meanings as the following in 3c Write a sentence using each word or phrase . (Show the Chinese meanings and the phonetic symbols of the new words on the PPT )Read aloud .
