List your problems and talk about them in your group . Which one is the most common one Can you give some advice . 通过老师的引导,学生分小组讨论问题。 让学生用英语尽可能多地说出自己的烦心事,找出最普遍的问题是什么?让同学们自己提出解决的建议。这个活动从学生身边的问题入手,他们有很多话题,能引出学生的兴趣。
讲授新课 Step II. Presentation Look at these problems in 1a . Are they serious or not Write them in the appropriate box. Read them aloud to get the pronunciation right . Step III Listening Listen and circle the problems you hear in 1a. Check the students’ answers . Listen and repeat . Step IV. Practicing Look at the problem in 1a and make conversations like this :A:What’s wrong B:I’m really tired because I studied until midnight last night . A: Why don’t you go to sleep earlier this evening ....... Step V listening Review how to us “could, should”. Listen and fill in the blanks with “could” and “should” in 2a. Listen again . Why doesn’t peter like his friend’s advice Write the letters (a-e)next to the advice in 2a. Check the students’ answers . Do you have better advice for Peter Step VI Pair work Listen to the tape again and repeat the conversations . Role-play a conversation between Peter and his friend . Step VII Role -play Go over the conversation in 2d. and deal with the difficulties in groups . Go over the conversation in 2d quickly , if you have any trouble , discuss them in your group . The teachers goes through the classroom and offers help if necessary . Read aloud the conversation in pairs .
