【概 述】
本课是PEP教材六年级下册Unit 4 Then and now本单元共6课时，本课是第5课时，
【设计理念】
以言语交际为中心，借助现代信息技术，努力为学生创设理想的英语学习环境,渗透任务型教学,能让学生把所学的内容联系实际，在生活中运用,提供丰富的网络资源，倡导体验、实践、参与、交流与合作的学习方式。
【教学目标】
1.能完成Read and write部分，根据题意选图片的预习工作。
2.能看懂Wu Yifan讲给Robin的故事，并能理解Duck的疑问以及大树的解释。
3.能读懂“Read and write”中的比较级。
4.能根据阅读部分完成相应的选择和填空练习。
【教学重点和难点】
教学重点：故事内容的理解。
教学难点：过去时的灵活运用。

Step 1.热身（Warm up)

本课时以阅读和写作为中心，要求学生在理解短文的基础上能完成相关的练习和写作题。本部 分的阅读以日常生活中较为常见的现象为题材展开，并出现大量的比较级形式，要求学生能善于观察和思考日常生活中的问题，且熟练掌握听、说、 认、读比较级，掌握其运用。
