There is a large square rock near a river in Northern Wales. Grass and trees grow around it. One part of the rock is full of writing. It tells this story.
“In the 13th century, the son of the king of North Wales had his home here. His name was Llewelyn.
One day Llewelyn went out without taking his favourite dog, Gelert.
When Llewelyn came home, Gelert excitedly ran and jumped to meet him. But the dog was covered with blood（血）. Llewelyn was scared. Quickly, he ran to his son’s bed and found his baby was not there.
