环节1 新课导入
教师准备一个书包和一盘磁带以及其他与本单元主题相关的物品,先提问引导学生回答,然后让学生和同伴一起讨论。

环节2 学习活动4、5
1.让学生先复习一遍活动3的对话,然后学生大声朗读活动4的对话,并利用活动中给出的图片,仿照该对话编新的对话。
2.教师邀请3组学生当堂表演对话并请其他学生点评。
3.让学生大声朗读活动5方框中的单词,然后把单词的正确形式填入下面的短文中。
4.教师邀请2名学生分享自己的答案并翻译文中的句子。教师核对答案。
设计意图:通过实践练习,巩固学生对已学知识点的掌握。
环节3 学习活动6、7
1.让学生朗读活动6的单词,注意字母a的发音。
2.教师播放录音,学生认真听并跟读录音。教师在跟读过程中指正学生的发音问题。
3.教师将学生分为三至四人一组进行练习。学生拿出四五种学习用品放在桌上,然后进行问答。教师邀请两组学生当堂表演对话。
设计意图:通过活动6的听力练习及教师的指导,提升学生的英语口语水平以及听力能力;最后的对话练习,让学生学会将目标语言运用到日常交际中去。

3.让学生用方框中的单词和短语完成句子,教师核对答案。
4.让学生浏览活动2的短文及课文后的小贴士Learning to learn,掌握其大意,勾画出其中的生词、重要短语及难句。教师对课文中的重难点进行讲解,在讲解过程中教师可以请学生起来翻译重难句。
5.让学生精读短文,回答活动2的问题,教师核对答案并讲解Learning to learn的内容。
6.要点点拨。
(1)People often lose things when they're travelling or when they're in a hurry.
① lose 及物动词,意为“丢失,失去”,其过去式和过去分词均为lost。常用搭配:lose one's life丢掉某人的生命;lose job 失业。
② when 意为“当……时候”,引导时间状语从句。例:I often help my brother do his homework when I'm at home.我在家的时候,常常帮助我弟弟做家庭作业。
③ in a hurry 意为“匆匆忙忙”。在此短语中hurry为名词。例:She often goes to school in a hurry.她经常匆匆忙忙地去上学。
(2)That's why there are lost and found offices at airports and stations.
That's why...意为“那就是……的原因”。此处why引导表语从句。例:They lost their money, and that's why they are sad.他们把钱丢了,那就是他们伤心的原因。
7.学以致用。(根据汉语意思完成句子,一空一词)

(1)There are a lot of things in it.
这是一个there be 句型,其结构为:There +be动词+主语+地点/时间状语。表示“某地/时有……”。其用法如下:①如果there be 句型的主语为可数名词单数或不可数名词,be动词用is/was;若主语为可数名词复数,则be动词用are/were。②如果there be 句型的主语为两者或两者以上的人或物,be动词用单数或复数要遵循“就近原则”,即be动词与离它最近的主语在数上保持一致。
(2)Here's a purple wallet!
本句是倒装句。在英语中,当here、there在句首时,如果主语是名词,句子使用倒装语序;如果主语是代词,句子不倒装。例:Look!Here comes the bus.看!公共汽车来了。
