T：In our last lesson, we have learned one passage about the tour of London.Today, let's get to know more details about it.Then we'll try to write a passage about the directions from your school to your home, using the words and phrases we have learned.

环节2 学习活动3、4
1．让学生再次阅读活动2中的文章，并在地图上标出活动1中列出的地点。教师核对答案。
2．让学生浏览活动4方框中的单词，然后用单词的正确形式完成句子。教师邀请五名学生起来分享自己的答案，然后教师核对答案。
3．让学生大声朗读活动4中的句子。
设计意图：通过实践练习，帮助学生巩固本单元的课文内容，使学生更好地掌握本单元所学知识并灵活运用。
环节3 学习活动5－7
1．让学生根据活动5的要求画一幅从学校到自己家的地图，并标出要经过的街道和其他地方。注意：地图中不要标记家的位置。
2．让学生根据活动6的要求写出从学校到自己家的路线。
3．学生两人一组，根据活动7的要求结对练习，同伴根据对方的方向描述，在地图上标记出对方家的位置。教师邀请两组学生当堂表演并给予点评。
设计意图：通过写作练习，既让学生巩固了所学的重要知识，又培养了学生运用目标语言进行写作的能力。

3．让学生两人一组，根据活动2的要求，用方框中的单词进行对话练习。教师邀请两组学生当堂表演对话。
4．教师播放活动3的录音，学生模仿其语音语调进行跟读，并整体感知对话。
5．让学生朗读活动3的对话及Everyday English的句型或句子，把握对话的主题，并标出其中的生词、重要短语和难句。随后教师对其进行讲解、分析。
6．让学生再次仔细阅读对话，完成对话后的练习，并将答案写在题后对应的位置。教师核对答案。
7．让学生四人一组，分角色朗读活动3的对话，教师邀请一至三组学生当堂表演对话。

“Why not ...？”意为“为什么不……呢？”其后接动词原形，常用于提建议，其同义句为“Why don't you ...？”
