(1)Yesterday,I fell asleep during class.
fell 是动词fall的过去式,意为“落下; 减少”;fall作名词时,意为“秋天”。fall asleep 入睡;睡着。asleep adj.睡着的; 休眠的。
【拓展】sleep v.睡觉; sleepy adj.困乏的;想睡的。例:She went to sleep early tonight,because she was sleepy.她今晚睡得很早,因为她很困。She fell asleep within ten minutes.她不到十分钟就睡着了。
(2)If not,decide what things must be done...
这是一个省略了主语的句子,完整的句子为“If not,you decide what things must be done...”。句中的宾语从句由what引导。宾语从句的语序要用陈述句语序,即:“连接词+主语+谓语+其他成分”。可以引导宾语从句的词还有:that (常可省略)、whether、if、who、whose、which、when、where、how、why 等。例:Could you tell me who knows the answer,please?你能告诉我谁知道答案吗?He asked whose handwriting was the best in our class.他问我们班上谁的书法最好。He hasn't decided if he'll go on a trip to Shanghai.他还没决定是否去上海旅行。Do you know which class he is in?你知道他在哪个班吗?Could you tell me why you were late for the meeting this morning?你能告诉我今天早上你为什么开会迟到吗?

环节2 新课学习
1.让学生阅读第156页的“Think about it”,思考其中的两个问题,然后和同桌一起讨论。
2.教师让学生讲述自己遇到的名人的经历,分享自己的心情和想法。
3.教师播放第156页课文的录音,学生在听的过程中感受语音语调以及停顿的地方。
4.教师再次播放录音,学生勾画出自己认为重要的短语和句子。录音结束后,教师请几名学生读出自己认为重要的短语和句子,然后教师讲解本课时的重要语法。
5.教师让学生模仿录音大声朗读课文,达到熟练的效果。
6.教师请四名学生朗读课文,每人读一段。教师要及时指出读错或者读得不准的地方。
7.进入“Let's do it!”部分。学生回顾课文内容,然后完成活动1,教师核对答案。
8.学生浏览活动2的要求,根据课文内容,把采访内容补充完整,然后和同桌分角色表演。教师请两名学生表演他们的对话,并纠正其中的错误。
9.学生独立完成活动3,教师核对答案。
