1. 教师出示 Uncle John 的头像介绍
T: Who’s this? He’s Uncle John. Now, I’m Uncle John.(戴上头饰). Hello, boys and girls.

教师领读 uncle, John. 学生跟读
2. 出示服装类图片
T: Look, there are some clothes.（把图片翻过去，抽一张）What’s this? Guess.
S1: It’s a T-shirt/ jacket/ skirt.
T: Yes. Look at this ... What colour is it?
S2: It’s red/ green ...
T: Good! This is for you.（作为奖励给学生，引导学生说 Thank you）
S2: Thank you.
3. 出示食品图片，然后翻过去，抽一张让学生猜。
T: What’s this? Guess.
S3: It’s a cake/ ...
T: Would you like a cake/ …?
S3: Yes, please.
T: This is for you.
S3: Thank you.
Activity 2 Presentation and practice
1. 出示玩具类图片，师生对话，了解学生对这类单词的掌握情况，进行教学。
T: What’s this?
S1: It’s a doll.
T: Great. It’s a doll. D-O-L-L, doll.
Ss: D-O-L-L, doll.
T: This is for you.（给学生相应图片做奖品）
S1: Thank you.
教师把所学单词板书在黑板上，遇到学生都不会的单词直接教学
2．集体认读玩具类单词，请学生把图片与黑板上的单词配对。
3. 出示装有这些玩具的礼品盒，并摆放在不同位置。
① T: What are they? Maybe it’s a doll…it’s a ball. Guess.
T: What’s this? S1: It’s a doll.
T: No. S2: It’s a car.
T:Yes. This is for you.（给学生相应图片做奖品）
S2: Thank you.
② 指远处的盒子问，让学生初步感知 What’s this?与 What’s that?的区别。
T: What’s that? S2: It’s a robot.
T: Yes. You are right. This is for you.(给学生奖品)
S2: Thank you.
4. 引导学生看黑板的日期，播放歌曲 Happy New Year.
T: It’s New Year’s Day. Happy New Year.（引导学生回答 Happy New Year.）
教师走进学生中间，与学生用 Happy New Year.互相问好。
5. 播放 Story time 动画，引导学生理解。
① What present has Helen got?
② What present has Mlike got?
③ What present has Tim got?
6. 学生听录音跟读对话，提醒学生指着所读模仿语音语调。
7. 学生分组、分角色朗读
Activity 3 Consolidation
1. 出示 Story time 部分的图片，师生、生生分角色看图说话。
2. 学生同桌用图片或卡片，互赠新年礼物，互致新年祝福 S1: Happy New Year.

引导学生同桌一组，仿照老师的谈话，说说其它几组图片，教师巡视指导。
2）Listen and choose 听录音，根据录音顺序，在图中选出听到的物品。 同桌互相核对检查。
3）Listen and repeat 学生跟读听力内容，注意模仿语音语调。
