含义 例句
① 在……期间 Where did you go over the winter holiday 你寒假期间去哪里了？
② 穿越 There is a bridge over the river.

③ 到另一边；
翻越 The boys climbed over the wall.

“How did you go（to）+地点 ” 用来询问对方过去去某地的交通方式.
它的答语为： I/We went there+交通方式。
助动词did在句中帮助构成一般过去时的疑问句，因为句中有助动词did表达句子的时态，所以后面的动词要用原形。
