重点 To grasp the structure of present continuous tense : What are you doing I’m watching TV. What’s she/he doing She/he’s ……
难点 ①现在进行时中现在分词的结构。(The structure of the verb adding “ing”) ②能在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行的动作。(Using this tense to describe and communicate)
Teaching Steps:
Step 1 Leading-in
1. Greetings.(为了沟通师生关系,进行相互问候)
2. Listen to an English song.(听音乐, 创设情境,引出新课。)
3. By asking and answering:
T:What are they doing now
Ss: They are dancing . What are we doing now
(Help the students to answer: We're having an English class now.)
4.Make the “ing” forms.
Step 2 Presentation
教师出示几张图片,引出现在进行时的结构和用法。
(1) 出示图片,教师问:“What is she/ he doing ”并帮助学生回答“She/ He is listening to a CD..
(2)然后出示图片,进行问答练习。老师领读。
A: What are you doing now
B: I'm watching TV. (ect.)
让学生在交际情景中感受现在进行时的结构和用法。
Step 3 Practice
1. Show some pictures and let the students ask and answer in pairs.
e.g What are you doing I am reading.etc.
2. Get some pairs to practise in class.
Step 4 Presentation
(1) 出示图片,教师问:“What is he/she doing ”并帮助学生回答“He/She is…….
(2)然后出示图片,进行问答练习。老师领读。

B: He/She is……. (ect.)
Step 5 Practice
1. Show some pictures and let the students ask and answer in pairs.

Step6 Game
1. 猜动作Show a picture and get the students to guess what he is doing.
2. Watching TV(观看一段视频)
3. 接着教师叫一些学生面向全班同学来做一些动作,让其他学生来猜他或她正在干什么。直到猜对为止。
Step 7 Listening
接下来的任务型听力要求学生对动作作出反应。
1.Listening to the tape: Please listen to the tape and find out “What is Steve /Jack doing ”
2.Check the answers in class like this:
A: What is Steve doing B: He is watching TV.
A: What is Jack doing B: He is listening to a CD.
3.Listen again. Fill in the blanks.
4.Role-play the conversation in 2b.
