Section A 3a-3c（Reading）
(一)说教材的地位作用
本单元讨论的主题是"传说和故事"，其功能项目是讲故事(tell a story)。语言目标是要求学生掌握连词unless, as soon as,以及so.. .that结构的用法。分 为SectionA, SectionB, Self Check三个部分。本单元内容与实际生活息息相关，是学生感兴趣的话题。本单元是围绕story来展开话题的一个单元， 分为五个课时。本节课为本单元第二课时，以阅读为核心，主要以中国传统的故事西游记为主题，让学生能听懂故事，并能用英语为他人讲述故事。
（二）说学情：我所教授学生在小学阶段几乎没有接触过英语学习，基础薄弱，有相当一部分学生对英语学习兴趣不高。在面对阅读时，更是表现出畏难情绪。针对这样的情况，在教学中较多使用图片、视频等从视觉和听觉的角度去激发他们的学习积极性。并选取贴近他们生活实际的教学内容，力使英语教学做到生活化、情景化。
（三）说教学目标
知识与能力:1）学习掌握下列词汇: object, magic， stick, hide, tail, turn-into， excite, western2）学生通过阅读短文，能按要求找到相应的信息。3) .通过听读、默读和齐读等方式提高学生们的阅读能力。4)了解《西游记》中美猴上这一人物的大体情况。
过程与方法:1).通过播放西游记的动画视频或图片开启木节课的教学，从而激发学生的兴趣。2) .通过阅读训练，来提高学生阅读能力。
情感态度与价值观:1)多阅读中国传统文学名著，让学生们明白中国传统文化的博大、精深，并吸取中国传统文化中的精华。2）培养学生的合作能力，促进彼此间和谐相处。
（四）说教法与学法：
教法：
根据学生特点及对基础知识的掌握、语言学习的特征，采取以下教学法：
1.采用多媒体教学手段.增强趣味性，激发学生参与的积极性。
2.听说读写综合训练，培养语言运用能力。
3任务型语言教学法，知识导入和任务设计由浅入深、由易到难、循序渐进。
学法：为了帮助学生学习新词汇，掌握重点句型，同时能比较好的运用到事件中，因此我要引导学生
1.学会预习:变被动学习为主动学习，带着问题有目的地阅读，可以更好地把握课堂的重点和难点，提高课堂学习效率。
2.合作学习:划分不同的小组，积极探讨交流，体会同学之间合作的魅力，发展学生的综合语言运用能力。

重点：掌握本部分出现的词汇和词组，达到熟练运用。阅读短文，获得相关信息。通过阅读练习，提高阅读能力。
难点：理解并运用所学词汇及表达方式；培养学生阅读短文获得相关信息的能力，能够运用目标语言复述课文。
