Teaching aims 1. Knowledge aims：Words: smoke, smoking; park, parking; litter, littering; climb, climbing; touch, touching; shout, shouting; fight, fightingImperative sentence patterns: No smoking/eating/littering…Don’t smoke/eat/litter...2. Ability aims：⑴ Students can use imperative structures “No+V-ing&Don’t+V.” correctly.⑵ Students can make rules using “No+V-ing&Don’t+V. “.3. Emotion aims：Students can learn to be polite travelers by practicing the conversation, making a list of traveling rules and rapping about the rules.本堂课旨在让学生学会运用祈使句中的“No+V-ing”和”Don’t+V.”两个结构来制定一些规则，并通过与寄宿家庭女主人的对话以及为自己的团队制定旅行规则等一系列活动学会做一名文明礼貌的游客。

Step 1Lead-in Ask students to do an interesting test to see if they are rule keepers.通过情景导入告诉学生我们的伦敦之行即将启程，现在要去马路对面上车，我们应该像图片中的女孩那样横冲直撞还是像男孩一样走斑马线？通过学生的回答进入主题 ——遵守规则。
Step 2Presentation Talk about rules in the first stop---Winsor Castle by using pictures and tips. Help students learn how to use “don’t” and “no” in imperatives.Encourage students to open the three magic boxes in the second stop---Harry Potter Museum and ask students to talk about the rules by using “don’t” and “no”. 本堂课是由伦敦之行的五个旅行站点构成，其中新授部分包括第一、二站。第一站是温莎城堡，在这里学生在参观温莎城堡的过程中学习“No+V-ing”和”Don’t+V.” 两个结构之间的转换。第二站，我们来到了哈利波特博物馆，通过打开哈利波特的三个魔法盒，鼓励学生尝试运用“No+V-ing”和”Don’t+V.” 这两个结构，同时教学生学会在这两个祈使句的结构中加上地点状语。
Step 3Practice 1. Ask students to guess what rules the professor at the third stop ---London University will tell them.Guide students to get into the fourth stop---London Eye by playing a game.第三站是伦敦大学，通过向学生展示三张伦敦大学教授与学生之间的对话的图片引导学生猜测教授是要告诉大家哪三条规则。第四站是伦敦眼，学生们通过完成一个超级玛丽的益智游戏获取进入伦敦眼的门票和奖品。这些游戏里的题目都是根据长沙市的中考英语语法填空题型来设置的。通过第三站和第四站的练习，学生们对于这两个祈使句的结构会有非常清晰的概念，并且大部分学生能够学会在这两个结构中添加地点状语。
Step 4Consolidation Have a brainstorm about rules in the fifth stop---a foreign host family.Practice the conversation between the hostess and students about rules in the host family.第五站是寄宿家庭。首先引导学生思考作为中国游客，我们在一个国外的寄宿家庭需要遵守哪些规则，然后找一个学生扮演寄宿家庭女主人与老师扮演的游客进行对话，对话内容为游客向女主人询问寄宿家庭的规则。示范对话结束后给学生两分钟进行两两对话，再邀请两组同学上台表演他们的对话。
Step 5Show Time 1. Work in groups of 6 to make up a list of traveling rules within 3 minutes.2. Rap about the rules.引导学生六个人为一组，一起为第二天的伦敦之行制定一系列的旅行规则。给学生三分钟，一些学生说，一些学生用马克笔在纸上把规则写下来，然后邀请几个小组代表上台展示他们的作品。最后带着所有同学一起通过说唱对今天所学的祈使句的两个结构以及旅行中的一些重要规则进行总结。
Step 6Homework Encourage students to make a list of rules for their own class.
