【教学设计理念】
基于单元统整和培养学生学科核心素养的理念，“整合单元教材内容，确定单元学习目标和分课时学习目标。依据三年级学生发展特点和学生的学习需求，设计不同层次的课堂活动，通过旧知引出新知，根据教学要求创设语境，力求体现教学过程中的认知因素和情感因素，从而激发学生的学习兴趣，促进学生综合语用能力的培养。同时注重对学生文化意识的培养和情感的熏陶，教育学生要爱护并保护动物。
【学情分析】
三年级的学生英语学习积极性较高，但部分学生的注意力容易分散，不能保持学习的持续性。教师应该面向全体学生，以学生的发展为宗旨，始终把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位，注意分层教学，引导学生端正学习态度，掌握良好的学习方法，培养学生良好的学习习惯。教师要充分预设，尽可能培养学生自主学习的能力，培养与同伴互助学习的能力。
【教学内容】
PEP人教版小学英语三年级下册第三单元第一课时Animals at the zoo
是一节对话课的教学。教师通过视频，图片等方式创设语境，由学生已知的动物入手，拓展到学会用fat,thin,tall,short等词来结合句型Look at… /It’s …描述动物的外貌特征。
Ⅰ.教学目标
A.知识与技能目标：
1.在语境中复习巩固动物类单词。
2.在语境中理解并学习fat,thin,tall,short四个形容词，理解对话大意，并能听懂会说对话。
3.能在语境中初步感知并运用本单元核心句型: Look at… /It’s …描述动物的外貌特征。
4. 初步感知含字母i的语音词。
B.过程与方法：
1.通过视频、图片问答等形式，让学生复习巩固动物类单词。
2.通过创设语境，帮助学生理解对话，并能初步感知并表达动物的特征。
3.通过Let’s do. Draw and say.等活动，让学生进一步理解并巩固核心单词和句型的运用。
C.情感态度价值观：
让学生感受到动物是人类的朋友，我们要爱护并保护动物。

1. 能在话题语境中听懂并模仿本课的对话内容。
2.能在情境中运用本单元核心单词和句型描述动物的外貌特征。
B.难点:
1. 能正确理解并区分fat,thin,tall,short四个形容词的含义及发音。
2. 能在情境中正确运用本单元核心单词和句型：Look at… /It’s …进行交流和表达。
3.会正确使用Wow! Ha! so …这些语气助词，表达情感。
