I like elephants best. Although they are big and strong, they are friendly to people. As far as I know, they are very smart and they are symbols of good luck.
Unluckily（不幸地）, they are in great danger now. On the one hand, they are losing their home because of farming, on the other hand, people kill them for their ivory. The number of them is getting smaller and smaller.
In my eyes, it is time for us to take action to protect them. Firstly, the government should pass some laws to forbid killing animals. Secondly, we don’t buy anything made of the ivory. Because just as Yao Ming said, “No trading, no killing.” What’s more, we should plant trees to protect animals and our environment.
Animals are our friends , they are part of our environment. Help animals, help ourselves.
