四个解题步骤
通读全文,理解大意。重视首句和首尾段信息,以及汉语注释,用略读法(skimming)把握文章大意,控制在10秒钟左右。
单击添加大标题
根据语境,初选答案。在把握文章主旨,理解句、段间内在联系的基础上,选出能使补全后短文语义通顺、前后连贯选项。解题过程中,应遵循先易后难的原则,先选出那些自己有把握的选项,并将所选词速写在空格处。对少数难题,暂时跳过,可能在下文中就有暗示或者明显的提示,或许一个在前面不能解答的题在填出了另一空后会令你豁然开朗。
利用规律,不留空格。高考中正确选项A、 B、 C、 D的个数是均等或基本均等的,即每个选项5个。我们在做好有把握的题后,哪个字母的选项最少,就选哪个字母,决不留空。

为什么我们在这一题型上总是失分较多
没有严格遵循答题步骤:
多数同学考试时担心时间紧,在没有弄清短文的中心和文章的情节线索的情况下匆忙答题.事实上我们用在这一题上的时间可以达到15-16分钟.
切记:一定要用2-3分钟时间进行缺词阅读,弄清文章大意和基本脉络后再着手逐个填空.
2. 不注意积累答题技巧:
a. 忽略文章中上下文之间的照应关系;
b. 遇到长句不注意分析句子结构,在语义模糊时抱碰运气的心理随意作出选择.
