本单元以“周末生活”为话题，继续学习了一般过去时态，并用一般过去时谈论周末所发生的事情及自己的感受。写此类作文同样也是以记叙为主，叙述周末两天做过哪些事情。掌握课本中的重要短语及相关句型，都是写好此类作文的关键。

单元常见错误诊断
病号1：I met Mary in the supermarket on_last_Saturday．
【处方】当时间状语中的名词被this，that，next，last，every等词修饰时，前面不再用介词。故原句中的on应去掉。
病号2：Li Ming didn't_his_homework last weekend.
【处方】含实义动词的一般过去时的肯定句变否定句时，应在动词前加didn't，动词变原形。故原句中的didn't应改为didn't do。
病号3：Who did_clean the classroom
【处方】对主语提问时，直接把主语换成疑问词，不需要添加助动词。故原句中的did clean应改为cleaned。
病号4：I found Mary to_watch TV when I came in.
【处方】find sb. doing sth.意为“发现某人正在做某事”，动词 ing形式作宾语补足语，强调动作正在进行。故原句中的to watch应改为watching。
病号5：I was too happy that I jumped up and down.
【处方】so...that...意为“如此……以至……”，引导结果状语从句。故原句中的too应改为so。
病号6：She is too tired.Don't wake_up_her．
【处方】wake up意为“吵醒；弄醒”，属于“动词＋副词”型短语。接宾语时，若宾语为名词，既可放在二者中间，又可置后；但是若宾语为代词，则只能放在中间。故原句中的wake up her应改为wake her up。
