Tu Youyou, a pharmacologist, born in December 1930. Tu, the winner of the 2015 Nobel Prize for the discovery of artemisinin, a kind of medicine used to fight against malaria(疟疾), has solved the problem of fighting against malaria and done a lot for scientific and technological inventions in traditional Chinese medicine and human health.

A long time ago, there was a young hero, who was Wang Erxiao. Please follow me to recall his story. Wang Erxiao was born in Hebei Province in 1929. His parents died when he was 11 years old. Wang Erxiao was a smart and brave boy. He joined the Children's League later. One day when Wang Erxiao was herding cattle in the mountain, he found some enemy soldiers come to the village. In order to protect the villagers, he was killed by the enemy soldiers on the morning of October 25, 1942. He was only 13 years old then.
