一、教材分析
本单元在第一单元的基础上以书信的形式继续讨论了毕业祝福语,使学生了解运用英语书写毕业留言的基本方法。此外,本单元还对现在进行时进行了再现。“What are you doing, Lingling I’m writing goodbye letters to all my friends at school. ”和“Wishing you happiness every day.” 是本单元的重点句型。“what、happiness”是本单元要求掌握的单词。
二、教学目标
1. 学生能认读、理解单词“happiness”,拼写运用单词“what”。
2. 学生能用与“What are you doing?”类似的语句询问别人正在做什么,并能进行回答。
3. 学生掌握运用英语书写毕业留言的基本方法,并能学以致用。
4. 在交流和活动中体验学习英语的乐趣,培养学习兴趣;引导学生学会珍惜友谊,关心朋友。
三、教学重难点
1. 学生能用与“What are you doing?”类似语句询问别人正在做什么,并能进行回答。

1. Warming-up
Step1: Greetings
Step2:Sing the song Goodbye, my friend.
T: Before we have new class, let’s sing a song.
2. Lead in
Step1: Show the title
T: You do a good job. Now look at the card, who can read the sentence … And what does it mean (师拿出句子卡片“Wishing you happiness every day.”问)
Step2: Learn the words “happiness”.
T: Now look at the screen, who can read the word (出示PPT)
Step3:Today we are going to learn Module9 Unit2 Wishing you happiness every day. (师板书)
Step4: Review wishing words
T: Do you know other sentences like Wishing you happiness every day
设计意图:引导学生复习学过的祝福语, 为后面书写毕业留言做好铺垫。

设计意图:让学生带着问题去听和读,不仅能提高学生听读课文的效果,也能培养学生从文本中获取信息的能力。

5. Write your goodbye letters.
Step1:Learn to write goodbye letters.
T: Now you know how to write goodbye letters to your friends. Do you want to have a try
T: Now take out your colorful cards and follow me , let’s write goodbye letters.
First, we should write the names of our friends.(指着板书First/Dear ...)
Then, we should write our wishes and something about our friends, such as“Wishing you happiness every day. You are my best friend.” (指着板书“Then/Wishing you happiness every day”说并且补充You are my best friend.”)
At last, write your own names.(板书:Last/Love ...)
When you write your goodbye letters, you can also use these sentences. Now let’s read these sentences.(指向黑板另一册的祝福语和PPT上的关于朋友的语句)
设计意图:通过板书示范,使学生了解、掌握毕业留言基本写法。
