教学过程
一、自主学习
学生自学新单词(教材P33的单词)，看谁记得又快又准。(2分钟)
1.house 房子
2.drink 喝；饮料
3.tea 茶；茶叶
4.tomorrow 在明天；明天；未来
5.clean the house 打扫房子
6.make dinner 做晚餐
7.drink tea 喝茶
二、合作探究
1. (1) 教师做几个动作，要求学生进行问答练习。如：
What is the teacher doing She is cleaning the classroom.
(2) 然后三人活动，一人做动作，另外两人进行问答练习。
What is he/she doing
He/She is playing soccer.
Is he/She playing football
Yes,he/she is./No,he/she isn’t.
通过复习，使学生巩固上一节课的主要内容，进一步熟悉本单元的重点句型和语法基础知识，为本节课进一步学习现在进行时打下基础。
2. 熟读Grammar Focus
1).让学生分男、女两组朗读Grammar Focus中的内容。
2).让同学们背诵Grammar Focus中的内容。
3).小结训练。
(1)Jim stands under the tree.(改为现在进行时)
Jim is standing under the tree.
(2)He’s carrying water for the old woman.(改为一般疑问句)
Is he carrying water for the old woman
(3)They are cleaning their classroom.(对画线部分提问)
What are they cleaning
通过句型转换的训练，让学生能够掌握现在进行时态在肯定句、疑问句和否定句中的用法，为本单元听、说、读、写的训练作好铺垫。
3. 完成教材3a~3c的任务
1). 让学生运用正确的时态连词成句,完成3a的任务。
2). 让学生把句子按顺序排列好，组成一段对话，完成3b的任务。
Teacher: Now, please number the sentences in order to make a telephone conversation. Then practice it with a partner.
3). 让学生分角色朗读3b中的对话，并让若干组学生到讲台上展示。
4). 小组活动，完成3c的任务。
Teacher: Now please ask and answer in pairs. Take turns miming different activities in your group. The others in the group guess what the activities are.
5). 小结训练。
连词成句（请注意大小写和标点符号）。

通过完成教材3a~3c的任务，进一步巩固语法基础知识，并运用所学的语言基础知识，让学生在实际操练中领会现在进行时的结构，以及与一般现在时的区别。
三、知识拓展：
1．现在进行时的用法
(1) 现在进行时可以表示说话时正在进行的动作，常与now，right now，at the moment等时间状语或动词look，listen等连用。如：
He is watching TV now.他现在正在看电视。
Look！They're playing soccer.看！他们在踢足球。
(2) 现在进行时可以表示当前一段时间内一直进行的动作，常和these days，this week，at present等时间状语连用。如：
They are working on a farm these days.这些天他们在农场干活。
(3) 现在进行时可以表示现在不断发展变化的事情。常与表示渐变的动词get，grow，turn，become等连用。如：
The leaves are turning yellow.叶子在变黄。
The days are getting shorter and shorter.白天正变得越来越短。
2．现在进行时的构成
(1) 现在进行时由“助动词be(am/is/are)＋动词－ing形式”构成，变否定句要在助动词be之后加not；变一般疑问句要将助动词be提到句首。
(2) 动词－ing形式的构成：
规则 例词
一般在动词原形末尾加－ing work——working；study——studying
以不发音字母e结尾的动词，先去掉e，再加－ing live——living；write——writing；make——making；take——taking
以重读闭音节结尾的动词且末尾只有一个辅音字母，应先双写这个辅音字母，再加－ing stop——stopping；sit——sitting；run——running；get——getting；swim——swimming；
以ie结尾的重读开音节的动词，将ie改为y，再加－ing die——dying；lie——lying；tie——tying

一般现在时态表示经常性、习惯性的动作；谓语动词为原形或第三人称单数形式；often, sometimes, on Monday, every day in the morning通常用在一般现在时态的句子中。
