—The Dragon Boat Festival
1、教材内容分析
本课是一篇中国传统文化的小短文，通过本课的教学，帮助学生了解中国传统节日—端午节的历史和相关习俗，弘扬中国传统文化。
2、学情分析
由于是借班上课，对学生的了解不够细致，但对于五年级的学生，应该要帮助引导学生理解关键词，理解短文，从而了解端午节的相关文化。
3、教学目标
能够在图片的帮助下读懂，理解有关端午节的短文，并能完成相关练习。
4、教学重难点
能读懂并理解短文，pyramid shaped dumpling、 poet的发音及含义。
5、教学准备
实物粽子，实物日历，单词卡片，dragon boat的图片，PPT。
6、教法学法
教法为讲授法、讨论法、练习法。学法为自主学习法，讨论学习法，学练结合法。

1、Listen to the songs and guess the festivals(听歌猜节日）
（Christmas Day 、the Spring Festival、 Children’s Day、 Mother’s Day）
（复习一些已学节日）
2、图片引入关键单词：
dragon boat、zongzi 、pyramid shaped 、dumpling（Zongzi is a pyramid shaped dumpling）、Qu Yuan
（symbols of the Dragon Boat Festival引出端午节）
The Dragon Boat Festival is also called Duanwu Festival.（由单词引入句子）
Step 3 Read and understand
1、How much do you know about Duanwu Festival？（学生思考关于中国端午节的时间？ /为什么庆祝？/人们是怎样庆祝的？）
2、Key words：Chinese lunar calendar、eat zongzi、race dragon boats（one boat，two boats）、great poet.（引导学生说出英文并组织游戏活动进行练习）
